considering how some people love to critize him, I wouldn't want to see them flocking over there to hate on him…
I agree with @jpny01 . Let's remember that these are discussion boards, not fan pages. It's perfectly okay to dislike a series or a performer, and it's okay to say so... as long as one is not being an a-hole about it.
I've enjoyed Singto in other roles but, like others, I feel that he is miscast here. Actually, I think it may have made more sense, had Singto and Lee swapped roles.
Okay, watched Ep 1 last week and just binge watched Eps 2, 3, and 4. Sure, it's low budget but I'm okay with that. As for the story, I'm all about Juanmig (sexy!) and Cairo.
As for just about all the other characters: it seems that I'm watching a bunch of really bitchy and bitter groups of "friends" hanging out and treating each other like crap. Not really sure what the point of these relationships are supposed to be.
But I'm kind of interested now, so I plan to ride it out until the end!
Hmm, I'm not sure why people don't consider this a BL. Weir and Jean obviously have had at least one kissing scene and they are a couple. How does that not constitute a BL?
Does it have flaws? Yes. I just don't buy Weir as the hot gay conqueror he's supposed to be, nor Punn as some sort of undesirable guy. Nor do I buy Pooh as being Piglet's father... and, in real life, Pooh is 26 and Piglet is 15. So he was 11 when he fathered Piglet... riiiiiight.
Still, I find Baker Boys fun and oddly compelling. I look forward to it a lot more than another current series that everyone seems to be ooohing and ahhhing about...
Love all the drama. But I feel that the title of "The Player" isn't quite accurate. It should be "The Bitches."
And I'm all in for the bitches!
