I agree with you and wondering if maybe the actors themselves have had a say in this. Having watched a televised interview (in Thailand) of all the Make it Right actors, all of them were very quick to claim that all of them were straight. They were very insistent on that point. (Perhaps some of them protest too much?)
Regardless, we can already see that other BL actors (Mean, Plan, Perth) have sworn off BL altogether (or so I've read).
As for Earth and Santa (Ep. 1), Earth is an out and proud gay man and I suspect that Santa might be as well. Just a thought.

To be fair, I've only watched the BL cuts of this series. So if Joanna has shown her "good" side, I guess I haven't seen it. All I've seen of her shows someone who is quite... charm-free. :)
Ep 5 was cute, I guess. But the story seemed more high school than college. And Plan seemed even more awkward kissing Nink than kissing Mean (in LBC and LBC2). I'm beginning to think he's just a bad kisser, lol.
