I totally understand what you are saying. I also don’t like FLs in dramas that disregard everything in the name of her stubborn love. (Thankfully, for the voiceover where YD says she won’t make YY chose the world or her and she’ll stand along side him) I also agree I think YD would’ve just been happy had YY confessed to her in heaven and they both died for love. She didn’t understand nor did the though of the 3 realms come to her mind because she’s always been carefree, she didn’t have such responsibilities. She didn’t understand that the man she loves in responsible for the 3 realms.
Just like what happened with XX and TQZ, their love led to thousands of lives lost, they wouldn’t be able to be happy knowing their love was built on the lives of so many innocent lives. It would be even worse in YY’s case since 3 realms = heaven, mortal, and demon realms, maybe people don’t realize the weight on YY’s shoulders so they think he can just give up on everyone and live happily ever after. (He isn’t the typical God War in xianxia dramas, he is a sovereign lord in charge of the lives of the 3 realms.) That isn’t how it works nor is that the kind of person YY is. For me, that’s like telling your surgeon boyfriend to cancel all his surgeries to go on a date with you.

I understand YD was young before and she didn’t understand, now that she’s had more experiences meeting the people that she’s met, she will understand and will be able to stand with him and support him rather then telling him to choose her. People may think it’s unfair to YD that YY can’t choose her first, but you have to understand his position. (Even YD thinking she’ll always be 2nd in his heart) Can you imagine being a surgeon and having your wife asking you to choose between her and the patient?? Like that’s how ridiculous it sounds that he can’t give up the 3 realms for her.

I’m sure that isn’t what YD would want anyways since she cares for everyone, but love is blinding, I guess. Although she has progressed in that she’s willing to let go for her own sake and move on without him instead of being so obsessed. We just have to be patient and wait for the lightbulb moment when she realizes everything, because there's still things she doesn't know that happened. I wouldn’t want YY to just be a mortal to be with YD, I would hope there to be someway to have both where being an Asura Demon Lord or he could be a spirit too.

I don't think she knows that if she didn't cross in 900 years that she'd disappear to nothingness. I also don't think she remembers telling YY she doesn't want her memories anymore resulting in him forcefully removing it. I hope she will meet Lu Ming , since he knows what happened

From what I understand, the normal way is that the person has to cross the River with their lamp of memories and when they let go on their memories then they can move forward to being reincarnated as a mortal. YD could not let go and was going to disappear soon so YY created a shortcut for her to go to the mortal realm but she’d have her memories. However after the fight with hades. She said she wanted to forget so he helped her as best he could, which resulted in him forcefully removing her memories.

actually XY's story happened first ( the war of Genesis) then the Great Celestial-Demon War(story of XX) because XX was friends with YY. So the love story between XX and TZQ happened around the time YY was in heaven with YD, because he went to fight in the war with the other sovereign lords

That’s so true! He made it so that she wouldn’t have to cross the River but it meant she’d keep her memories but then Hades came and after the fight YD said “I either forget or die.” It was so heartbreaking 😭 I hope YD will know the truth of all YY has done for her 😞 they both have suffered so much. 💔

But then I’m not sure if YD can become immortal again - just my ramblings 😅😅 but yes I’m glad she’s understanding him better and not make him choose between the world and her. and YY also, treating YD as his equal so that they can fight along side each other
