Just caught up to all the amazing trailers. I’ve been waiting for Deng Wei’s new drama finally it’s here! 😍

My problem is more whether she is ok with it or not. If tsj and XY were both willing participants of adultery then at least they were both agreeing to do that and can deal with the consequences of their actions together vs xl touching/kissing XY when she isn’t aware? If XY said it’s ok with her if XL is touching and kissing her while she’s unconscious then it’d be fine too. Do you understand consent? Because like @sotreed said XY put boundaries between her and XL many times especially after she got her title back and that means she’s not ok with it to me. But again if blurring the lines sits well you guys then do you. I’m just surprised you all think this kind of behavior is ok. I’m done with this topic we can agree to disagree.

Well I wasn’t there for that but why didn’t they? Many drama lets the men get away with much more than the women. If the same scene happened to a man then ppl don’t care as much but if it’s a woman then it does matter a lot.

You don’t have to care about some to respect their decisions/choices/beliefs just like this whole comment section . We all obviously don’t agree on everything but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t respect people’s viewpoints

In the novel TSJ and XL were always respectful of one another and their positions. Not like how the drama portrays them (both) somehow reduced to petty love rivals. When TSJ and Jing Ye were talking and Jing Ye talked about the chenrong remnants Jing wrote down "loyalty and Righteousness" he understands and respects that, I don't remember in the drama but does anyone else say that about XL and his men?
XL is the same he also respects Jing otherwise why would be doing business with him for hundreds of years nor help him either.

Jing choosing not to go revenge mode and moving forward with his life rather than stay in a toxic cycle of anger and revenge is already his way of healing. People either stay stuck in the past with their trauma and become bitter/cynical/pessimistic or they move forward not allowing themselves to wallow in the past. Yes, Jing still has low self-esteem, it's not a failure or a crime, it takes time to fully heal and not everyone is capable of it most of the time we get stuck in our own feelings and stay in the past.

In the novel it was a fight between Huo’s tiger and Jing’s nine tail fox. Jing fox is supposed to get his tails ripped off I think 7 of them. But no budget I guess. Just throw him off the cliff and call it a day🤷🏻‍♀️

Saw this post about Jing that I really love, also happy to hear that people are loving Jing on weibo because not everyone sees the things he does in the background so he is often misunderstood which makes me feel even more sorry for such a kind character. Also, really impressed with Deng Wei's acting too, I heard he is still a newcomer but I definitely became his fan after seeing his portrayal of Jing.

I loved the mortal arc as well. Every story had some kind of lesson or moral to it. Also the mortal arc is when YY/TZ and YD spent most of the time together and YM too.
