8/10 because of the ending. dont get me wrong, a sad ending doesnt mean anything but the reason of why [ ] died…
Actually I think it was quite selfless and responsible of him to sacrifice his life for the lives of the 3 realms. He knew his powers could take over and cause him to hurt people especially since he just hurt YD. Since the beginning til end YD has always said “you protect the 3 realms and I will protect you” she’s living up to her words. This is xianxia so it’s acceptable for me, but ofc if it was a modern drama I wouldn’t be ok with the fl doing it.
I really wish that some people on here understood that a bad ending and a sad ending are not the same thing.Yes,…
I thought the ending was done so well. It’s neither a sad or bad ending to me because we saw the ending scene where everyone’s life is in peace because of YY’s sacrifice. YD followed YY so now they will always be together as well. I’m am satisfied with this ending so even w.o the bonuses.
First LLTG is a historical fiction drama not wuxia 2nd there’s no need to force yourself to watch IS, if you don’t like it there’s so many other dramas out there that you can try. And if you aren’t trying to complain about being forced to watch then perhaps you should change you wording like you weren’t interested in it the first time but you are giving it another chance.
Initially when the express pack came out I also skipped to the end and saw what happened, at first I was sad and frustrated as most people. However, after watching the 6 episodes I think the end was done beautifully and the ending was fit for this drama. I loved the talk between XY and YY and YY and YD. I'm glad we got such closures before the ending.
Responsibility has been echoed many times throughout the drama so I can see why YY would follow his mom's footsteps and use his life to protect the three realms. It's not a bad ending or a sad ending imo. At the end we saw people living their life and life was thriving for everyone. That is what YY exchanged his life for.
I think I read comments that it was lazy writing to end it that way but imo there was more to it. At the end of the day, whether we realize it or not, there is always someone who sacrifices for us. EG: Those who work on the frontlines, those who dedicate their lives to helping people, soldiers that defend their country, their home. When defending your homeland is also protecting your family, this is what YY did as well except in a xianxia style. For YD, she loved YY so stubbornly so deeply that she chose to be with him even in death. Throughout the drama they had their misunderstandings and their times apart, like she said they were always chasing each other's shadows, but now they can be together. He can protect the world while she protects him. They chose each other every time but this time they can be together.
Would i want an alternate ending where they're rewarded for the sacrifices they've made, yes of course I would love it! but I am happy with the ending of the drama as well, because of the meaning behind it. IS is definitely one of the best xianxia for me.
i am on episode 4 ... fL is too arrogant.... even though whatever FL does is wrong why the hell ML is overstepping…
YD is super smart and clever, she's just a bit lazy and really carefree and her only life goal is to be a mere attendant for her sister and a writer for the 6 realms, she doesn't want power or to rise up in ranks in any way. The ML saw her potential and wanted to help hone her skills because she lacks foundation, which is why he wanted her to move into his palace. He didn't do it for any kind of feelings other than wanting more talent for the heavenly realm. Idk what oogling you're talking about but he challenges her on the surface and makes her copy books but the underlying reason is because he knows she's a quick learner, which is why she learns spells so fast. He also knows she's not the type to learn the normal way so he does it in a way of challenging her. Idk what you mean by no respect for other, the only person she was a bit rebellious against was probably just the ml and he was ok with it since his life is has always been about work until he met someone that is different than others. And as with any drama when the fl and ml spends time together they will develop feelings for one another. And when she was being bullied, if you think she was being disrespectful to a higher position person because she is sticking up for herself then that is a YOU problem not the fl.
Lastly, i don't like comparing but if you are going to compare then you should compare a 500 year old YD vs a 500 orchid . How can you compare them when you are just at episode 4? You are saying all these nice things about Orchid, but isn't that after her character development? isn't that after she matures? Because from what I remember Orchid was also annoyingly naiive at the beginning of LBFAD, but people said it's because she's young and naiive and to give her a chance so I did. So we Immortals ask you to also give YD a chance for her character development before you compare or at least compare the same things on the same level. If you don't understand something you can always ask .
I think his voice suits Xuan Ye. You can’t expect an Asura Demon Lord to have a mediocre voice 😂 I could listen to Xuan Ye all day! It’s so deep and enticing, totally just pulls us in 🥰
OML Why are they STILL keeping Tao ZiQi by their side?? Its fine if Liu WeiYang is gullible but Yan Dan and Ying…
They’re keeping her close bcus if she’s a friend then it’s to help her because of LWY. If she’s an enemy then it’s to see what she will do. They’re aware she’s sus so they aren’t being gullible.
