"The film also touches on other social issues, although it is not addressed in depth. For example, Min-Ho's appearance shows that South Korea is seeing an increase in immigrants from developing countries seeking a better life in the country." That is incorrect.
The social issue addressed through Min-ho is of Korean men fathering children in Southeast Asian countries, like the Philippines and Vietnam, and then abandoning the child(ren) and mother to go back to South Korea. Google "Kopino." That's the point of Do Hoon bringing up the term in the movie and Tina mentioning Vietnam.
I said the same thing after I changed my answer on episode 3 and ended up wrong for the third time lol (my first…
Hahah I have the same record, 1 out of 6. I was wrong on ep 6 for the opposite reason I was wrong on ep 3. I wanted to change my answer but I thought about how I got a hunch to change my answer in ep 3 and was wrong. So I stuck with my original choice this time and was still wrong lol.
lol guys i gave up guessing lol every time i guess wrong
I said the same thing after I changed my answer on episode 3 and ended up wrong for the third time lol (my first guess was right but then I changed it in the end). But I just watched episode 4 and got it right so hang in there! Keep guessing! LOL
People who don't only watch K-Dramas were probably introduced by his work from Japanese ones. May he rest in peace.
I only watched K-Dramas and he's the reason I decided to check out Last Cinderella. He was definitely my introduction to J-Dramas and the reason I watched a few more after that one. Hearing that he has passed is heartbreaking. Every article was like seeing it for the first time again because it's so hard to accept.
I'm interested in watching this but your comment about gore is making me hesitant. Is it that bad? I don't mind…
Ah okay. I understand when your imagination makes things more graphic. I have that issue as well. I'm still on the fence about whether I'll watch it so far, but your description is very helpful.
I couldn't finish it because the torture/gore scenes were really getting to me. Spoilers put the final nail in…
I'm interested in watching this but your comment about gore is making me hesitant. Is it that bad? I don't mind seeing blood but I don't like seeing or hearing the act that caused the blood, if that makes sense (for example, someone's head getting bashed in). Is it something like that? Should I skip it?
i probably missed it but did they get mark choi or did they completely left him out/forgot about him??
I thought of that character too while watching the final episode. They didn’t catch him any time during the show. I think once Choi Do Hyun was cleared of the crime Mark Choi framed him for, it allowed them to move past that storyline a bit. At that point, it was one of the police teams’ duty to investigate and find the suspect. I think CDH’s team just stuck with investigating the original group of guys they were after.
I can't wait to watch this! I've said that once I learn Korean this would one of the first Korean books I read (along with Jonghyun's book) so I'm super excited to see it coming out as a movie!
I love the moment with the invisible ticket and the two bodyguards xD !!
My replay button died today...
While watching that part, I had to pause the show to regain my composure because I cried laughing to the point that I couldn't see. Then I kept replaying it. I miss this show.
I'm glad you mentioned how well the lead actress differentiated her two characters. That's always the first thing I think of whenever I think of this drama. I even recommended this drama to someone a few years ago and I had to mention how great she was at playing her two roles. This drama isn't a favorite of mine, but I am considering watching it again because I miss Hongki, and the drama wasn't bad. Also, that song is one of my favorite OST songs.
Completely disagree with Vampire Detective. The only reason I kept watching is because of my love for Lee Joon.. Otherwise, that show is a huge NO. I was so disappointed in the end.
38 Task Force is great and I just finished Missing Noir M. I recommend both.
I don't think jeong do will betray seongii. He is probably aiming for much more.
I agree. I think Jung Do still has his back, he just needs to handle something else first. At least I hope that's the case. I predict that the things he told Sung Il at the beginning of ep 10 is actually what he's going to do but it'll still end up helping Sung Il too. Fingers crossed because I like the Jung Do-Sung Il bromance.
