Lol, I for one would get even angrier if I knew something and choose to ignore it and still expected for the best. I'd rather prepare for the worst and if in the end it's something better, it'll be very gratifying.

There aren't any official English subtitles available for this drama. The subtitles going around were machine translated and weren't proofread.

Wouldn't that be great and at the same time ridiculous. For now that script sounds very convincing because it has the usual ending tropes (last minute reunion, last second reveal, open ending) that occur in this CDrama genre.

I have read comments saying that the drama deserves an even higher score and I'm here now wondering if and by how much the score will crash when we arrive at the finale.

As all the different rumors, cast interviews and especially now the leaked script are pointing towards an Open / Bittersweet Ending.

I know, right. I usually avoid on going dramas because of how restless I become trying to figure out the endgame. Though sometimes I'm not bothered and just watch them as they air, for example: Family The Unbreakable Bond.

I initially didn't want to start watching this while it's on going, but the interesting conversations going on here and because Bai Lu is the FL and finding out that the ML Luo Yun Xi is the SML from AOL, I let myself get sucked into this craziness. XD

I got you. I just meant the "perfect" ending should be something like AOL.

I'm sorry, but that drama's ending, even though a Happy Ending, IMO wasn't perfect. They should have fleshed out the reunion instead of a last minute scene. One of the best Happy Ending in this CDrama genre was in Ashes Of Love.

I feel the writers think that they have made a masterpiece when they end the story like that.

There are too many different endings floating around. Only time will tell which one is the correct one.

According to the leaked script: The daughter is with LSS when she sees someone behind them and asks LSS who that person is. After the reveal who was standing behind them, the drama seems to end just right there. This is what I have gathered from reading the comments about the leaked script and in my opinion it is an open ending with a bit of bittersweetness. Happy because TTJ gets to reunite with his daughter and sad because she doesn't seem to know who TTJ is and we don't really see the aftermath of the encounter.

I just hope that the actual ending turns out better than the leaks, rumors and cast interviews, which have all been pointing towards an unsatisfying ending.

Sure but these types of endings are far too common for this genre.

Surely they could have given a better final scene than:

- "Who are you?"
- Turn their backs away.
- Final reveal of the person through the river water which is clear as a mirror.

Gonna wait and see how well this plays out.

- No proper English subtitles even after 4 days. Only machine translated.

I can only hope for it to be satisfying to watch because just from reading about the leaked ending I'm honestly thoroughly disappointed.

The ending from the novel (?) mentioned in the comments, was so much more satisfying. Can't understand why they couldn't just stick to that.

Ugh, already feel like the ending is going to bug me like most of fantasy CDramas. Would it kill them to give us a better final interaction...?

I think my region (Europe) is going to get unlucky with the simulcast because Pandora, another TvN drama, has only recently started to stream it's first 2 episodes on Disney Plus while the actual drama itself is already nearing it's end on TvN.
