After finishing I completely don’t blame hongye for treating his son the way he will. The story was so devastatingly beautiful🥲 felt like my heart was getting ripped out for him losing all his loved ones. You can see him turning into an empty shell of a man from all the pain and guilt THEN the only person holding him together dies too😭😭😭 everything was so perfectly portrayed.
