Rati has his birth mother: who died shortly after his birth, his aunt :who helped raise him and who he also considers his 'mother' (he actually thought this was his real birth mother at first), AND his adopted mother who he actually grew up calling 'mother'.
This is messed up. Not that I don't like Ping, but there are so many brown-skinned Thai kings that need more screentime.
They are. I remember back in the day when it was all about having half-white half-Thai looking actors. Now the trend is East Asian. Thailand is beautiful because of their phenotypical diversity. I wish they'd embrace that more.

Earth is a prime example. He's one of my faves, but I don't why between Moonlight Chicken and Ossan's Love he's gotten so much thinner and paler. I mentioned it on Reddit and everyone responded to me like I was crazy. lol Also, yes, I feel like ever since the "BL Renaissance" as I like to call 2020-2022, we've been getting so many dramas in which the writers underline that the characters are Chinese with "hia", "ma" or "ba" .

It's getting really bad. In Thai BLs now, I feel like all the male leads need to look Chinese or Korean and if they are more Thai-looking, then their skin gets lightened. Ohm Thitiwat, Earth Pirapat, and Apo all have skin more on the tan side, yet for each one of them, they're lighter in their later BLs vs their early ones....it can't be coincidental.
For real. It’s a crime that he hasn’t been a ML since Tonhon Chonlatee.
And I feel like he gets hotter with every series I see him in. I'm watching him in WandeeGoodday now and I came here to see if he was the ML in anything else, but no...pure disappointment.
I can't say it was bad, but I think if I would have watched it week by week, I would have been very annoyed with episodes 10 and 11, but it's Thai BL, so I guess that's standard at this point.
We get all the way to the love confession and them being boyfriends and then suddenly EVERYTHING ELSE in the show is more important than the relationship...lol
