As someone who regularly watches Gameplay's cooking show (Food Hacker), I'm so upset to know he knew what this show was about, went to an audition and not only didn't get one of the main leads, but not even a role in the kitchen. :( Gameplay is the best boy and the best chef. :(
I want two sequels: one with DaOn in Japan falling in love with a really a cute Japanese classmate...who's also a musician (he deserves it) and one with the teacher (WE deserve it after that last scene).
I don't know if it's the way the language emotes itself, the simple talent of the actors, or the way the singers belt out the ballads in the OST, K-dramas (whether BL or not ) consistently make me -feel- things in ways dramas from other countries don't. And I swear, every time Yoon-Oh cries or gets close to crying, I do too. Choi Jae Hyun is so great.
Leo and Fiat seem to trust each other and Leon and Phob are hitting it off. After Fiat's mom comes back and they make up, what else could possibly happen that won't seem really sudden, rushed, and contrived for the last three episodes???
My main thoughts from the latest episode:1. The sound editor needs to chill. We don’t need that many sound effects.…
1. YES.
2. Tbh I feel like it's a rich people thing. Super rich people in shows are always either extremely conservative or very, very liberal (the mom from Mean Girls serving alcohol to underage teenagers comes to mind). The mom seems more like a sister to all of them than a mother to any of them.
3. I'm pretty sure that was mostly meant in jest. Also, all of Fiat's friends are only there for comic relief. I don't find it outside the normal range of a joke made by a college-aged guy to another college-aged guy....especially when one of them actually DOES have a sex video out there. lol
I enjoyed the chemistry between ZiTong and YuZhen much more in this one episode than between YuZhen and ShiLei for the whole series. That's bad because by the end of this episode, I just wished the entire series would have been about ZT and YZ's relationship instead of YZ/SL. :( Sure, we would have gotten a terribly sad ending, but it still probably would have been a better series. ZT/YZ's relationship seemed so much more mature. Watching ZT and SL even after they got together in the end still feels like a high school/college couple.
I really wish the special episode would have gone a different direction and given more info about YZ/SL's happily ever after. If for no other reason than for me to not have this bitter feeling of having been able to watch a whole series about ZT and YZ.
Watched the teaser and it looks like I might like it. I must say though (and no offense to Suar or his fans, even I loved him in You Never Eat Alone), but it REALLY would have been nice to see Tae paired with Chap (Y-Destiny) again.
I don't understand is how King didn't get punched in the face by Leo or a penalty from the referees. I like Leo's character for his strength, but like he said, he felt and looked weak...and it showed, but I don't get why. He totally could've kicked his a** at some point and he was definitely angry enough to want to do it. lol
Yeah, but considering the massive plot break at the beginning of the last third of the series, it might not be…
Around ep 9, covid strikes behind the scenes, so not all the original actors are able to come back. The lead 'Cupid' disappears and another dude, with the same name, but nothing to do with the original guy shows up and the finishes the series in a coincidental 'happily ever after', but you're left with a feeling of "wtf" by the end, even though the ending isn't sad at all.
The only thing I remember is him trying to get Tharn and Type to break up. What else was he up to?
I'm still not sure I follow. Type was physically near, but emotionally and romantically unattainable. Leo was emotionally attainable, but physically distant and after he came back, he was romantically distant. All the while, Fiat was single. So, what difference does it make why Fiat ultimately decides to hook up with that guy while Leo is away if he's single anyway?

Oh, I remember that scene now. But I also remember that guy just being interested in getting into Fiat's pants, not actually dating him? Also, I don't mean to sound combative, but are Grindr-style hookups inherently bad?
Yeah, but considering the massive plot break at the beginning of the last third of the series, it might not be as worth it as you think. I can explain further if you like, but I don't want to totally spoil it for you just based on this one question.

4. Same
