LOL What they *did* air was a LOT of Shun and Dai sitting around talking about nothing or even not talking at all when they could have showed more of the other contestants interacting and building their own relationships/connections. Taehon was just an example, but there were others who were jipped on airtime too. We don't need to fixate on Taehon.

I don't think that most non-Korean/non-Japanese speakers watched Squid Game or this with dubs. It's too awkward. Especially with this as a reality show.

Exactly. It's a dating show....not a relationship show. lol It would have been nice to see Taehon and others go on more *dates*. The show was too focused on Shun and Dai.

The show was nice enough, but I think they kinda tried to make it seem a lot more complicated than it actually was by the end.

I'm just along for the ride at this point. Can't be bothered to try to fully wrap my head around all the possibilities of whose reality is actually reality.

If the whole Ba-Mee/Judy thing isn't just a dramatic excuse for them to bring in Jimmy at the last minute, it will have been a huge wasted opportunity. Especially with how ep 8 ended. Like seriously this is the PERFECT time to bring in Jimmy for Sea.

Yeah, even if he saved him from the 2nd world bad guys, once they got back to the 1st world, the 1st world bad guys who killed 1st world Phupha wouldn’t mind killing him again. 😂

Based on the content alone, I want to give this a 6, but the aesthetic of the production and the fact this is one of very few reality tv shows about relatively ordinary gay guys (representation matters) bumped it up to an 8. The major flaws for me were: Shun's personality, the fact he had so much screen time so I had to put up with it, and just the general lack of even screen time for some of the other characters, especially Taehon, who I think actually had the best story in the whole show despite his criminal lack of screen time *and* the fact that he didn't get romantically involved with anyone.

What I like about this type of BL is that the storylines are so perfectly separated that if you’re not invested in some characters, you can just skip the scenes with them. 😂 The only characters in this show for me are: Ryan, Jane, and Pie. No one else matters. lol

Also, I feel like the rock at the bottom of the lake thing was just a bit 🤏 of lazy writing. One would think if it were known that the rock is there, someone would have broken it and crossed long before. Also, what about Kram's dad?!?! He disappears, comes back, only to disappear again. The heartbreak that man must feel. 😭

I think this is categorically the best series Max and Nat have been involved in, but at the same time, was it amazing? I...don't think so. I didn't hate it, but I think a lot of that stems from the fact I'm somewhat attached to Max and Nat and that I'm happy to see Pak be get a redemption by being a somewhat decent series (if you've seen Love Area and The Cupid Coach, you know what I'm talking about).

I think the low point reviews for this show come from how frustrating the characters are and how problematic the plot becomes in some places. The best thing about this show is actually the acting. The main cast are all really good.

Seriously. They're both naturally really funny and I feel like if Sammy were playing Ba-Mee, her character would be possibly less annoying to watch.
