Why do many Chinese dramas rarely have the same couple pairing again? Is it like a forbidden thing or a done deal?…
is it that rare? the past few dramas i've watched had the same pairings (i watch the 2nd dramas specifically bc i liked the pairing from the 1st). hasn't dilraba herself done many projects that have her paired with the same people (Vengo Gao, Zhang Bin Bin, etc) but i guess that's mostly bc they're under the same studio. but yea, i hope to see dilraba and leo as a pairing again in another project.

it doesn't have to be mutually exclusive, you can acknowledge that she's been through a lot and also see that her actions are still inexcusable. i guess she's sorta the foil/cautionary tale for CG's character; CG keeps the people of the country and their safety&happiness in her heart above any revenge she may want whereas YC lets the hatred consume her

back in Chang'an, they were playing very fast and loose with who knew about princess yongning being alive. didn't LSM say he let it be recorded that Princess Yonging had die? he told her that when she went to palace to kill him. i wouldn't expect 'commoners' like A'Dou out in the open thinking Princess YN is alive. just cus she said lady jin was her mom, why would he jump to her being the princess and not one of the sons? even after Sun, who is more astute, finds out she's a woman, he doesn't make the connection that she could be the princess even though that's the most likely/obvious choice.
