And he ran back to the temple after hearing what Xi Feng said but didn't he connect it to that 'A'Li' might be Changge and that she since she left the temple earlier she might just not be back yet.

Yep, as sad as it was that Alir had to die, it was honestly the best thing for Sun. He can be 'free' now without her being used as a pawn to control him.

Yea, that was really stupid of them. Also it's kind of hilarious in a sad way that Hao Du manage to find Chang Ge like a dozen times while it took him forever to get Leyan.

I'm surprise that he doesn't have any biological sons of his own, not even from mistresses. Does anyone know if it's the same in the manhua?

Yea, I don't think anyone would disagree that Chang Ge has been reckless, impulsive, etc in her actions and whatnot but that doesn't make her a bad character/person. There is a world of difference between constructive criticism and straight up unwarranted hate/rage that I've seen some people post. It's very sad to see the latter.

Yes, noone is perfect. Chang Ge as the main character obviously has a journey to go through, to learn from her mistakes and such. But sometimes the outright vitriol against her is just astonishing to me because some people seem to throw her character right into the trash just because she made mistakes (while keeping mum on other people in the situations who did way worse things intentionally) and disregard all the other facets of her character.

I'm ok with a separation because they do need to have some time apart/alone to reflect on their previous actions and learn and understand what they truly want. But 5/6 eps was a bit too much for me here; mostly because of how boring I found the other stuff that was going on in those eps. Just didn't draw my attention and felt like a drag and I just didn't care. It seems they will have another separation (she leaves in ep 35 and they might not meet until ep 38 or 39). I've already watched ep 35 and 36 and even though they are separated, the things happening in the ep are interesting and I care about what's happening this time even with new characters and such.

No, Great Khan is not Sun's bio father. it's been mention several times he is his foster father. Great Khan has even said that Sun is from Central Plains. I think he 'favors' Sher (i used the term very loosely since i don't think he even LIKES him much lol) just for the basic fact that Sher is blood related to him so the Khan title should pass onto him. He uses Sun as a tool to try and bring the best out of Sher by always pitting them against each other. I also think this is his way of keeping the two in check so neither of them can rise and take over his position too quickly.

As for Sher and Sun coming together to fight against Great Khan, i don't forsee that happening as Sher's mom is already making moves to take him/Ashile tribe (& Tang empire) down .
