yea.. they were young in the manga.. that's why i said it would be hard to do casting unless they went with pre-teens/teens.. what they could've done was just change their ages in the drama itself but i guess they wanted to have their cake and eat it too.. bc a lot of her recklessness/decision making was 'excused' bc of her young age, etc

tbf chemistry is a subjective thing.. that can take on many different forms for many different people. but in this case, i felt more of the criticism is that it wasn't more overt with the skinship and whatnot. some people just need to be hit in the face more with that for them to considered it chemistry. personally, the chemistry was off the charts for me (maybe precisely bc there wasn't that much skinship, it made every eye contact or interaction between them felt full of UST to me.. tho i still would have love to seen an actual kiss lol)
