I agree that the actor playing the husband looks to be similar in age to the FL and not like he could be her child. Yes he looks a bit younger but not significantly so.

Damn. I thought we would get 2 episodes every wednesday as is the normal case with Disney+ own Kdrama content. The 1 episode schedule ruined the killing vote for me.
story of meng xiadong was incomplete in novel too ?
I really want to know the answer to this question too. If felt incomplete in the drama. I get the feeling the series had to cut episodes and Xiadongs storyline was sacrificed as a result. Otherwise what was the point of giving him a love interest.
1. Did Xiadong and Lin Lin get back together? Unless I blinked and missed this there was no scene showing them reunite. It also felt strange that Xiadong wasn't there on the celebratory trip at they end during the proposal.
2. Who is Jiang Yang 's wife and did we actually ever see her on screen? I can't remember it ever being mentioned that he was married with a kid before. She wasn't there when he was in hospital. The child looked to be over three years old.
I really loved this drama but feel some episodes were cut. I also want to know what Yiyang plans to do next after stepping down from running the billiard club.

I guess I won't be getting any Uni work done tomorrow what with the express package coming out! If feels like only yesterday that this drama started and its almost over. I adore this show but really wanted to see more of Xiang dong (maybe we will in the remaining episodes). This series has lived up to its expectations and then some. I still feel robbed by Chinese censorship though.

I feel like this series needs to be longer so that these characters could have been developed more. I read somewhere that there were originally more episodes but the series was cut to 30.
I really like how mature Xiang Dong is. He was defeated by Yi Yang but rather than being jealous admires his talent. The actor who plays him is so handsome and talented, I can't believe he is only 21! I found the reunion between YY and his coach/master to be really emotional and moving. I know these are all fictional characters but I have become really invested in their lives.
