I'm still unsure as to if Xian Han knows the He Ran is sick. Did he work this out when he realised where she lived and who her mother was etc? He Ran taking pain killers for tooth ache implies she might be relapsing. The younger guy with the mother looks like the Art Student who the FL is renting the apartment from. If so, I wonder if this storyline is in the novel.

Just looked at the schedule. After Monday the 20th there are no new episodes until Thursday the 24th, (eps 18-19) and Friday the 25th (20-21), We then have to wait a whole week for the final three episodes to be released on the March 2nd (eps 22-23) and 3rd (ep 24). How are we all going to manage to wait this long?

So obsessed with this drama! I love everything about it and can barely wait 24 hours for new episodes to drop. The Forbidden Flower is so different to any other Chinese drama I have watched before. The chemistry between the ML and FL is amazing, the scenery stunning, and the OST incredible. I am hoping for a happy ending but am pretty certain it will be a sad one.

I haven't read the novel but in the drama I do not think So Young slept with Kyung Pil. When the two were having a conversation at the university branch Kyung Pil told So Young that he once dated a very wealthy girlfriend (Mi Kyung) and that they broke up. The remainder of their conversation was then muted to viewers. I think that Kyung Pil may have told So Young that his cheating on Mi Kyung was a lie, made up to break up with her so that she would leave him, perhaps again because of her families disapproval? The two might have then decided to pretend to have slept together so that Sang Soo would give up hope on getting together with So Young? Just my thoughts? I agree that ever episode is frustrating and confusing but I can't stop watching.
