I understand ppl frustration around it. I do sometime think whether the writer forget about that power. Personally, Script could have done better.
However, as Sol's big fan and a fan of LR which helped me escape from helplessness and hopelessness, I believe there are deeper layers to consider.
First Time Travel: Sol didn’t know she was time traveling and couldn’t prepare. She was forced back to the present with minimal understanding, but she noticed changes like the photo with Sonjae, showing her actions had some impact.
Second Time Travel: She warned the police and tried to avoid the accident by not going out that day. She attempted to steer Sunjae away from music, thinking his career was the danger. Nonetheless, she was captured again this time due to Sunjae asking her to go out. Despite escaping the killer, she was forced back to the present, leaving her 19-year-old self with no memory to inform the police, which led to her being captured again later and death of Sunjae in 2023.
Third Time Travel:Sol understand the death of Sunjae is due to the attacker so she tried to avoid Sonjae. She provided the police with detailed information and surrounded herself with detectives. Her plan was solid until Sonjae appeared. Explaining to him could have prevented his interference, but she feared his involvement would always lead to his death. This belief was rooted in her repeated experiences.
Fourth Time Travel: She erased herself from Sonjae’s life to protect him from tragic events and herself from losing her loved one.
Regarding the point about using her power when running to the airport, I personally don’t see the need. As for the ML and SL fighting, it seems intended for comedic effect, despite the inherent danger.
For me, I consider the psychological toll of reliving trauma, kidnappings, and the death of a loved one within months. Sol’s decisions reflect a complex interplay of trauma, fear, and a desperate attempt to save those she loves.
You can call me dumb. If I were here, I wouldn't even survive the first timeline.
As a romance drama i would give this drama a 8 out 10, as a time travel drama this is a 5 out of 10.I liked the…
I do consider there certainly are plot holes and I do want to change some parts of the drama. (However I love it so much to the point that I will give it a 10).
I couldn't resist replying about the point on shouting things at the killer. Even if she tried, it wouldn't be effective in saving herself or anyone else. When trying to stop time by shouting about the future, the person you're addressing must be within hearing range. Since she’s constantly running from the killer or so, he wouldn’t hear her anyway, making it useless. However, if she is in his hand already, of course it will be useful.
Additionally, she’s traumatized and in a dangerous situation where rational thinking is impaired. I experienced something similar a few months ago when I was almost targeted by the military regime. I was almost arrested and tortured to death. In that moment of extreme fear, I couldn’t think clearly or act, only cry. I was saved thanks to the people around me, not because of anything I did.
So it's important to consider the psychological impact on the characters in such extreme situations.
The director didn't call KHY ugly-his quote was poorly translated/ the PD didn't phrase it properly. He was talking…
yeah. I have seen the previous version and gets what you mean. however, I feel offended and sad by hearing that he use harsh word on her visual. appearently it all depends on styling and directing. so I simply think he should have talked to the stylists as well. he may want to praise Hyeyoon. but his choice of words is so….
not only as a director but also as a human being, one needs to make sure to understand the negative connotation around the words they used. knowing her commitment and professionalism I also believe Hyeyoon will not be disturbed by those words .
Alright now I’m disgusted with people. They hate the fact that people love this drama and stoop so low to degrade…
I rarely watch K-dramas, but I do follow the work of a few trusted actresses: Kim Go Eun, Han Hyo Joo, and Kim Hye Yoon.
The primary reason I started watching "LR" was because of Kim Hye Yoon, and I know many viewers share my sentiment. Those who criticize her acting should take a look at some film critics' reviews of her performances.
While I adore BWS (I love him so much), his presence and visuals alone wouldn't bring this much popularity and love from the audience. It's the result of collaborative efforts from the entire cast and crew.
That is truly something I desperately hope as well. I just feel like she has not gotten as much acknowledgement…
If it's about popularity, Woo Seon undoubtedly ranks higher. However, she is already well-recognized by Korean netizens and people in the entertainment industry. And, she has won Best New Actress awards at the Baeksang Arts Awards, Blue Dragon Film Awards, and Grand Bell Awards. So, basically her talents are already recognized way before.
Many are bashing the director for his comments on KHY's visuals on social media (twitter/X). Honestly, the whole…
I am quite confused on how he can use "harsh words" (he personally said he use harsh words) with Hyeyoon regarding her visual, especially since the character was created with her in mind. Adjustments to visuals can be made in many ways that do not involve hurtful comments. Personally, I believe Hyeyoon's appearance can change significantly based on her hairstyle and outfit. Instead of him making harsh comments, I think it would be more productive for everyone (Hyeyoon, the director, the designer, etc.) to come together and discuss what works best.
I am not sure how Hyeyoon felt at that time. Maybe she regard it as sth positive. But I just couldn't stop thinking if such comments made her feel insecure and doubt about herself.
Bruh, now that the show is over, bunch of links of BWS doing this and that, enjoying the limelight. Where is KHY?…
I am happy for BWS. but I just couldn’t stop crying for KHY. of course, compared to BWS, she is already in a certain place (just by looking at the awards she received). But……. I just don’t feel right.

However, I heard The Double is good.

however again, I am still angry.
