I am honestly confused as to what kind of relationship does the 3rd prince have with Empress Lu. He looks too young to be involved with her. I feel like even the Princess is older than him. At first I thought she was a mother figure to him but it’s very odd I’m still trying to pinpoint it 🤣 like, how and where did he come across Empress Lu?
This drama has taught me so much about loyalty and patience. As Fang Jian Ming once said it’s been generations for the Fang clan to serve the Emperors line behind the scene and he’s the last of them still maintaining that traditon (baixi). I don’t mind the ending they all had their happy ending (Haishi & Fang Jian Ming are doing great favours for their ancestors and the future of their state).
What attracted me to this drama is the poster and the eye-candy pairings otherwise rest is total trash. The dumbest…
Couldn’t agree more. The switch of character and expression from the male lead and his father made me wanna punch the screen lol. They made things more confusing.
I don’t even know where to begin with this drama. The whole thing was basically about the crazy aunty. Never a sweet screen time for the main leads until the very last minute.
I agreed with Pong throughout this whole drama. Probably the only person that was sane and well aware of the toxic situations.
At first I watched this when it was airing than dropped it cause I was very confused. Attempted to watch it again during lockdown and I’m glad I did. Just finished the drama and I loved it 🥺 brings back memories when I first loved Lee Min Ho’s dramas. The storyline is kinda confusing in the first 3 episodes but if you don’t skip through it you’ll eventually pin point the storyline. I’m satisfied with this drama :)
Ning family lost the chance to gain an intelligent girl like her that could’ve helped their son & family earn a reputation. I wanna slap the daughter so bad, she’s embarrassing her brother.
Also, imagine if the role was switched. Zhu Zan becomes Ning and Ning is Zhu Zan. I guess I’m just used to Zhu Zan acting the evil roles lol.
And can we just admire the female leads role. So good, I’m loving this drama. It’s like the director knows exactly what the viewers are thinking. Like she’s not turning a blind eye on the never ending plots against her.
omggg. just finished episode 4 - y’all don’t know how much I held in my laughter through this episode because currently it’s 3am lol. I mean Miss Dentist don’t need nobody she can defend for herself. I’m living for this drama. So refreshing!
Somehow Ao Rui Peng looks so similar to Dylan Wang. There’s just certain angles that it kept reminding me of Dylan and the hairstyle too 😂. Ma Meng Wei looking so similar to Park Shin Hye. But hey, they are themselves and I love them. I loved this drama. It was cute and light hearted. Love how male lead doesn’t let minor influences get to him (for example, his uncle). Not forgetting the mom and assistant. They carried the show lol.

Love love love!!
I’ve watched much worse with sad endings lol

Also, I thought Dusik was joking when he first introduced himself as the boyfriend in the preview. Than director also showed up 🙄
