I was afraid that this would happen. Horrible ending in my books. But typical reaction for his character to sacrifice himself for Nut.
To be honest I don't know how anyone can call this a happy ending... Tofu did much more for Nut than Tarn ever did and he become a sentient human being.
And Tarn had 10 years to reconcile with Nut prior to this.

Not really I think it's just for promotion of the tv show. I think if you look where it's heading also based on EP15 is that Tofu at least in human form will die.
For me honestly if they do that they just messed up the ending big time. I would rather have not seen it.

I think most people are still delusional and hope that Tofu will remain human and ends up with Nut. I have the feeling they are preparing us with the idea that he did his purpose to heal Nut, Na, Song etc and Nut can reunite with Tarn.
Based on how Tofu character is, he will be ''happy'' with the memories that the has built with Nut.

What I also noticed. First who is playing the character Kensit Nut best friends comes over irl very shy while in the tv show as somebody who is quite cocky.

I would not mind if we could get a second season. Not necessary 90 minutes long but let's say 45 minutes and 8-12 episodes would have been nice.
