I gave it three shots, the third time I found the heart of this drama. although at the time of writing I'm 5 episodes in. It's with every drama sometimes you need to give it time and pause and watch it at a later time frame.
Not your typical drama. You might need to reset your mind for an hour and unwind what you are used to from K-dramas.…
Just finished watching today! I gave it a 9 in the end. All three Mi Mo chapters were interesting in its own way, but Nana left an impression that was the deepest of all phases. Her display of despair, sadness and determination was captivating. I thought the writer would use the daughter of Kim Mi Mo as a plot to use against the tteokbokki Grandmother as to reveal she is her real grandchild. But still a great dramatic way how this ends.
Not your typical drama. You might need to reset your mind for an hour and unwind what you are used to from K-dramas. It's bold and sort of unfiltered if that makes sense. Episode 4 really got me, the last 15 min, at the end with Mo Mi (Nana) and Chun Ae on the run. I felt different kind of emotions at the same time. Nana is such an underrated actress, and that's an understatement. But all actors were good in their own roles.
LJH, Yes live your life as you please! Have no regrets, time is short. Do the projects you want, skip the ones you don't like. This has nothing to do with ageing, it's a turning point in your life that it could be over in a split second and/or if your not in healthy condition. Signal S2 is for sure one I look forward to. To me signal S1 was the best crime thriller I have seen, sure it has flaws, but which drama hasn't. Sitting on the tip of your seat and the story being intriguing each episode is very hard to keep one engaged through out. So I guess the bar is being set very high for S2.
This is quite refreshing and intrigueing! Although is not the first time and the last time that someone's (suicidal) death returns back to life in someone else body. But the rules of the game is new and the reason behind it to let the protagonist feel and know about his selfishness and for him to regret he took his own life. Only because his perspective was too one sided. Also it feels like a mini serie within a mini serie, but still connected through a thread.
It could have been a better show depending on the script. So we can't properly find a way how to plot the so-called mystery. And what's with the hideous/childish display between Chan Min Hoo and Hong Ye Sool in the final episode? I rather wanted to have Director Lee and the actress Oh Ji Young have it more screen time to develop their romance instead.
I like this drama! For several factors! The whole cast works perfectly. The story and script is very compelling. The ML and FL are doing great. JKY got stiff roles in the past, but this one better showcases his versatility and potential. The FL is surprisingly such a refreshing actress. She not your typical actress!
Claudia/KSH finally got a great role to show she’s a great actress in The Atypical Family. It’s the best role that could happen to her, not to be distracted about her beauty and only just focus how witty and funny she displayed her character. I have seen her in the fugitive plan B for the first time like 13 years ago, and her role was to be stiff and not to have any emotions. This continued in Monster, as being typecasted. Great she is finally being in her prime after more than a decade and getting good roles in the future.

Loved it partly. It could have been so great. Agree the narrative is flawed. The actors did a great job that carried the show. The chemistry of the leads was something else, so that kept me watching.

This was quite exciting the watch! As always HHJ never disappoints me. I like JJH being able to portray the role exactly how it should. It was too short and there is so much more to create with the storyline. I hope we get another season of at least 12 or 16 episodes. The advanced high tech used in life is very present, the struggle of transition to sustainable way living has always to do with power and politics. I’m in for S2 and with more depth.
She's in the industry for 17 years but she couldn't earned the fame and love she deserves. It makes me feel very…
I really love watching her, her role in Flower of Evil was my favorite. The series itself was also thrilling to watch. Anyway she has true fans like us. I do miss seeing her on screen. Not sure why she showed up at the end of Taxi driver 2. Perhaps she will feature in season 3.
I like the male lead from tell me what you saw, watched a lot of his stuff. anyway what’s with this peppermint candy…I heard this before, now I remember I watched the first few episodes but dropped it. Rewatching the first episode I understand why I dropped it. But I’m gonna give it a try to continue.
