Allow me to disagree. Signal had a load of paradoxes and its end didn' t make any sense.
i can’t remember how it ended. It’s literally 8 years ago. But I get you it has flaws with rewriting history that changes the future each time. I’m not too sure with script writing being that fluid while shooting episodes towards the end.
Allow me to disagree. Signal had a load of paradoxes and its end didn' t make any sense.
Sure! Such script with a walkie talkie communicating back in time can't be flawless. I was able to accept that in the first place. But I guess Baeksang Arts Awards agreed with how I viewed Signal.
Signal won Baeksang Arts best drama award, best TV script and Best Lead Actress for a reason, right? I watched it real time before it received awards, not because of receiving awards.
No I didn't, but I know the Director of Parasite and have seen Parasite obviously. To me Signal is epic, what is epic to you that’s great. Everyone have their taste and flavor. But Memories of Murder is a movie from 2003, right? Signal is a TV series, maybe you can suggest another epic series in your eyes. I liked Flower of Evil too, but different.
Signal was epic! The best serial killer & crime drama I have seen till date. I would love to see a season 2 with the three main characters & same actors. Can’t wait.
Park Eun Bin has become a new favorite actress on my list. She is special. Can’t explain right now, I need to see more of her work. I was impressed with Woo Young Woo. I wasn’t sure if I she would impress me in another series but she just did.
Namkoong Min’s ability to portray his Character is so impressive. I wouldn’t even call it acting, it would downgrade his performance. Just him portraying his role is at least a 9 to 10. The drama started of really interesting but lost steam after episode 8, it feels a bit of a stripped version of IRIS. Other than that it’s a good watch.
Congrats for winning the 60th Beak Sang Arts award for best actor in My Dearest. NkM is such a versatile and talented actor. I watched Good Manager and Doctor Prisoner. I need to catchup with some of his dramas, watching The Veil as we speak. He portrays his characters so well.
Park Eun Bin was so impressive. She portrayed Woo Young Woo so well, that I didn’t feel like she was acting. I didn’t notice Park Eun Bin before this while I watched some series she featured in like Sangdo, Dream High, Entertainer. She is definitely one to watch and to follow closely in her future roles.
I really like the build up of the storyline. I like the short epilogues towards the end too. Also I saw like real clips of wrongly accused people that were sentenced…wow are these real stories. It makes the series even more interesting and more sad.
While I don't think QOT is anything close to a masterpiece (it was still a fun, entertaining drama), Signal and…
Everyone has their opinion, flavour and taste. I respect yours. Thanks for your suggestion. The same ML LJH from Signal...haha. Actually I didn't like any of his drama after Signal. The Devil Judge...I like Ji Sung, one of the better actors. I will give it a try. Anyway there will never be a drama that is 100% perfect within the story. A flaw will always be there somewhere.
In my view it was entertaining and I was eager to keep watching. I love the cast and the chemistry between KSH and KJW is so so real and natural. I love both individuals but them together is extra. Just towards the end of the storyline was underwhelming and how things turned felt lacking in a sense its hardly a masterpiece . IMO Signal and Flower of Evil are worthy to be called masterpieces as everything from start to finish was so well put together. Even CLOY was better than QoT through out to the end. But I admit I wanted it do well and up to ep. 10 was very good. The plot and all the pieces coming together with KSH and KJW sort of "destined to be together thing" felt flat. But still I gave it a 9.
Ohh the evolution because now there's global platforms... if Goblin was to be released today I think it would…
Funny! There is always someone that wants to protect their favorite drama. I couldn’t finish watching Goblin, not sure at what episode because it’s 8 years ago. I think it started quite interestingly but the story could keep my attention, also I’m not too fan of KGE. I believe the interaction between GY and LDW was more entertaining. But I might give it another try, that works sometimes for me. Crash Landing was top for sure. QoT is definitely worth watching, I’m glued to the screen and can’t wait to see the next episodes this weekend. For me Signal + Flower of Evil were the best from TvN. Maybe Signal #1 and FoE #2.
This is funny as hell 🤣 I have always liked KOB’s acting but she is funny too. Her martial art skills come in handy. I like the ML YT too and KJH left a great impression in his role Flower of Evil.
I’d better ask you to recommend me what to watch. Most series she featured in as FL I couldn’t finish. Like this one Cha cha cha or Tomorrow with you…Oh my venus is the only drama of hers I could complete plus liked. I don’t like chief of staff type of series.
Shin Min Ah is beautiful as ever. She has changed/aged at all since I saw her for the first time in Beautiful…
I have been struggling to keep watching and focus. I’m at episode 15 but to be honest the last 5 episodes it couldn’t get my attention….not sure if I want to finish this even though it’s just one episode left.
NkM is such a versatile and talented actor. I watched Good Manager and Doctor Prisoner. I need to catchup with some of his dramas, watching The Veil as we speak. He portrays his characters so well.
