Love this! And I hate watching historic drama’s in general. SHS is doing an excellent job here! Together with KJH this so entertaining thus far. Waiting for the next eps.
She is some amazing actress. The first I saw her on screen was the intense drama IRIS. I really felt sorry for her and had sympathy for her. I followed her in other dramas. Lately she is playing this horrible person in Penthouse. The way she play her role is giving me the creeps. She plays her so well, she should get an award of playing the worst character.
SHS can shine again in this one. I don’t like Joseon era type drama, but she is making me watch this. Look forward KJH teaming up with SHS. However stories around such era is always a fight of power within the Royal Palace, which is so cliché. Anyway let’s see.
She is very good, one of the few that can play her character so well. I like the way she presents herself on screen. I’ve bcome a fan after Angel’s last mission and then watch Golden Life. So looking forward to Mr. Queen.
This was so bad! I was looking forward to an epic performance from the ML. But the story about kidnapping and…
I have held on to this drama, and have to revise my comment after watching ep. 1. The storyline is quite interestingly built up and how things unfold to reveal the ugly truth that is haunting bad people, like you cannot wash away your dirty hands. The setting how things are in play is science fiction, you may like it or not, but it is very good and does get your attention all the way.
I dislike the message of this drama if they make DM end up with NDS. So people shd become an opportunist & push…
Agree, I guess to claim credit of what is based on a lie and cheat is not a good message. Same thing that happened when he was young. Morally this obviously so wrong. So what is the lesson learned? Can you live with yourself? So will he confess and start doing what is right? 2nd, I don’t have even 1 inch sympathy for this guy NDS. 3rd, is there a message for the secret savior/helper HJP? Someone that was homeless without parents, but succeeded in life career-wise. But totally clueless with his love life or social life. Does he have no guts to pursue his own happiness? Or does he thinks the debt he is paying weighs more then anything else? 4th, their is no right or wrong for SDM to fall in love with whomever, but it must clear for the Scriptwriter & Director which direction it will go what’s the moral message they want convey to the audience. Obviously it seems NDS is the main ML who will end up with FL SDM, HJP will not end up with SDM. But I just don’t like the character NDS, or how the scriptwriter has developed his charachter.
I was originally keeping up with Private Lives weekly, but life got in the way so I stopped halfway through. While…
Details matter for sure! Especially with dissected parts of the storyline through different eyes. But that’s makes it so worthwhile to watch this. This is no average drama and easy to predict what comes next. That’s why it’s so good!
This one is tough to predict what comes next, which I like. This drama uniquely, which zooms into different moments and through different eyes and persons. The story doesn’t follow naturally with next episode to continue a chronological storyline. It’s dissected in 3 parts following several characters and then it comes together. I guess not everyone likes this, as this is no average storyline people can follow. But I really like this! I like it when I can’t predict what comes next! Pretty intelligent the way it is put together. Finally.
Not too bad! Actually the story is good. The message that is wrapped around the story is definitely worth it. I just don’t like this nonsense about becoming young again and for no reason (obviously the trick becoming back to his old self is he finally understands what has been most important to him and without regrets) he is back to his actual form again.
