Unfortunately things like this happens in real life too. Hopefully, the drama will find a way to knock her off her pedestal and transfer her to another dept. ..all without exposing our main couple.

I noticed too, that RJ helps to deflect the conversation every time Z almost zone in on our main couple.

Same. She has some gall to think a newcomer like her can take the lead in everything.

I find it annoying how she keeps calling ML “my senior”.

I really thought that XYX would come around and they would get back together. They were a good pairing.

Whoever dressed her and made her face didn’t do a good job. She actually looks a bit younger in Wonderland of Love. Though she still has that mature look, especially in comparison to Seven with her baby face and to XK who is even younger.

I feel the same. I’m not sold on her feelings for him. I’m glad they didn’t show them intimate or lovey dovey, they seem more like siblings than lovers.

My Mermaid is an older drama of hers that I also enjoy and rewatch often. It’s a lighthearted drama with no crazy SFL.

I did read the book but it was so long ago, I can’t remember. Maybe someone who read it recently can chime in.

I agree. The love part of the speech, imo, didn’t make sense given everything else he said and it was also unprofessional.

Talk about the wrath of a woman scorned. But ZD really doesn’t have a leg to stand on with her fury…in the drama, he never gave her any indication that he was interested in her. This woman is seriously delusional.!!

In any case, the scenes showing HT and the uncle’s abs…sigh (in admiration).

HT and ZD had an intimate relationship in the novel. Friends with benefits. As in friends with a sexual relationship, but not a couple.

People are not bashing WQZ. Many actually said she was ok to pursue the ex bc JX already broke up with him. I don’t like WQZ bc 1) she broke the girl code and 2) how she sneaked around to get the guy and have the gall to feel upset when she was confronted.

Because she hadn’t seen him in years, and met him again in the business setting. Not to mention she met him again when he was around her boss.

In the business world, yes, HT would be referred to as president if they’re not friends. But if this is someone he knows from outside the business world (in his university days) he could be an acquaintance and not have to address him so formally.

Just because he’s calling HT by his first name makes him a friend? I call many people by their first name, and many are not my friends.

How can it be hypocrisy? Is this new guy a close friend of HT? Is new guy going behind HT’s back to get close to JX? New guy appear to be an acquaintance.

While WQZ was one of JX best friends, she had feelings for her friend’s bf WHILE her friend was dating the guy. YEARS. She then visits the guy at his home, his work, did things for him in secrecy from her friends. She intentionally hid what she was doing and her whereabouts when she was with him. Not the act of a long term good friend. Which she was purported to be.

I agree, it is a fake friendship on QZ side. I wished JX had not attended the wedding. She can wish them well by just sending a card and gift. Attending the wedding was a bit much, OTT to show JX was sincere and had moved on.

Imo, JX was sincere with her friendship with QZ however QZ did not reciprocate the friendship in the same way. She was sneaky with wanting her friend’s fiancé, in both having feelings for him (she did not even tried to stop having them) and in how she acted upon them. If she truly cared for her friend she would’ve tried to help her work out her relationship after they broke up. She never gave advice to JX. Instead, she was only with the ex, trying to help him get over JX and then she confessed her feelings to help him move on from the breakup.

I put the drama on hold after ep 20. I want to wait until ep 36 or so before picking back up to watch. But from all the comments I’ve been reading JX didn’t cut off the friendship and gave her blessing to their wedding. However, JX and the other two girls did stop spending time with her and she feels wronged. Seriously, WTH is wrong with her??
