Good question. This K version seems to be following the timeline of the J version so far. If that continues, then the romance won't start until late into the drama, I'm guessing around episode 13/14. In J version, the real romance didn't get center stage until late in the drama at ep. 8 of 11 and ep. 9 of 11 is where they had the big love scene.

Exactly. I really hate it when dramas use children more as props than integrate them into the story for a purpose. I would much rather writers get creative and not use children/babies in a storyline at all if they are going to be used in such a fashion.

I wondered the same thing-what about their child? I agree with you the writers just decided to do a reset of the story and eliminated the baby. To be fair, the child was really just a blip in the original season 1 . They really didn't seem to care about the baby at all and forgot about their son pretty quickly. Makes you wonder why they had to include a baby at all during Season 1.
