I agree that DF customer service went way down ever since the Warner Bros. buyout. People are going to leave if you don't treat them well. It's really a shame, but Dramafever just brings it upon themselves when they don't even bother to post a message to subscribers about what is happening. I mean, how hard is it to say that the server crashed (or whatever is happening) , that they are very sorry for the delays and they are working hard to fix it? But, no, there's just silence. So stupid. Maybe if they get enough angry e-mails sent to their customer service site they will post a message. I think something is seriously wrong with their uploading system since every show is affected. I only hope they can fix it quickly.

I am wondering the same thing. The entire site is down. They haven't posted any new episodes of any drama or variety show beginning on Friday, Oct. 12. Everything has a message that the episodes have been postponed to a later date. This includes Korean, Chinese and Japanese titles. And No explanation from Dramafever. They seemed to be getting back on track, but now it looks like a total mess. Customer service is of course non existent. I want to support them, but frankly, can they really blame people for cancelling premium membership when they don't have shows and don't bother to give any updates or apologize for the delays?

Yes, I can see it makes better sense if they traveled to an alternate /parallel universe, and this time in the alternate world when Tan Er dies, she just dies and her soul leaves the body completely. Then Xiao Tan takes over and no sharing. I hope it will be like you say. The producers of the drama have not done a good job explaining the set up for this sequel. It is very confusing, and I hope that is is explained well in the first episode.

Thanks for your information. For Dongyue kingdom part-if they go back in time then won't original Tan Er be alive as well? First Prince also died, but he is alive again for this drama. It is so confusing. It would be great if we do not have the bodysharing this time and just Xiao Tan, but the drama producers are not explaining things. I hope you are right about no bodysharing though.

Yes, I hope everything will be explained well . The new trailer that was released just makes everything more confusing.

I think it would be a good idea to watch Season 1 before the Season 2 just to have a background information since season 2 will be referring to the previous relationships. I don't think it is necessary to watch Season 1 to understand the plotline of Season 2, but I believe you will have a richer viewing experience and understand the "inside jokes".

Thanks for the information. Yes, the plotline is very confusing. If they did go to a parallel universe, then that would explain people being alive again and have different couples with 1st prince and older sister together and Xiao tan could just be herself in parallel universe without Tan Er. But yes, the plot is very confusing and the 2nd MV that was just released is not helpful either. A person in another forum translated the dialog in the 2nd MV. There are scenes taking place in historic era where Xiao Tan is palace servant and remembers Mo Liang Chen- she calls out to him and he is the one who doesn't know her. then other scenes where vice versa-he knows her but she doesn't know him. Like, what? I hope that we can get some solid information about the plot before the drama starts .

So, does this mean that they are not returning to Dongyue Kingdom but rather the orb sent them to another fantasy world that is a mirror image of Dongyue Kingdom? Kind of like in the comics with original Earth and then there is Earth 2 , where everything is the same and people have dopplegangers but they are different?

Yes, I'm wondering the same thing. Is Tan Er completely gone or will there be body sharing like before? It's confusing.

I'm confused about this plotline. There have been clips showing the leads in modern day, but the MV is all in the historic period. Also, will there be 2 souls in one body again with Tan Er and Xiao Tan sharing Tan Er's body? If they have gone back to the Dongyue Kingdom, what about their son? From the poster it look like First Prince and Older Sister will be a couple in this version? But what about Tan Er since she loves First prince? What exactly is the setup?

The PD made some statements at the press conference where he openly discussed the incest plotline, which was unusual because that was a major plot twist for the original. Since he "let the cat out of the bag", many people thought that meant the drama would be either eliminating the incest or majorly toning it down. I agree with you that the "are they siblings?" storyline is quite confusing. From what's been shown so far, it looks to me like they are keeping the "they are siblings" twist, and he does seem to remember her. Plus they both have the burn scars. He told her that they are the same age, so I think in this version they will be twins. My guess is that they will not have a romance/ incest between the 2 characters, but rather just hints that they are drawn to each other. If we are lucky, we may get a hug, but no kissing or more. That way, when the reveal comes that they are siblings, it can be a positive thing and a happy ending. We will just have to wait and see where the drama takes us.

I like the PD as well (I loved Oh My Ghostess) but both the PD and writer have a rom com background , so I don't know if they will be able to do a good job with the melo. I understand your concerns. Definitely high expectations for cast and crew. As you said, hopefully, the drama will deliver a great show.

If the drama is going to be a lighter tone , then I hope that Ryo and Yuko couple can have a romance and a happy ending where they can be together in this Korean version (with kisses!:-) I guess we will just have to see. My suspicion is that the drama will keep the "they are siblings" twist and so we won't have any romance between the 2 characters, but rather they will probably just hint that they are drawn to each other. We might get a hug if we're lucky. That way when the reveal comes, it won't be a bad thing and the 2 characters can be happy to be blood related- no angst involved, and nobody dies. However, I will gladly accept your version where they do have a romance and end the drama as a real couple. That would be a great ending for me since as i said before, I was really sad when they couldn't be together in the J drama. Regardless, I hope we get lots of interactions between Ryo and Yuko characters as i felt they were not together much in the original version. Another thing I hope is improved for S. Korea version is the mystery/police investigation storyline. It was hardly explored in the J version so I think K version has a good opportunity to ratchet up the mystery tension for this version and show the police actually doing their jobs.
