this will be my last response I just wanted to add a quick observation. I went on your profile and saw that you rated revenged love a 10/10. didn’t that show have the same “perpetration” of rape culture that you’re condemning in this show? I mean Chi Cheng constantly assaulted and harassed WSW (grabbing his ass, trying to kiss him, trying to have sex with him WITHOUT consent), but everyone loved that simply because it had good writing. Chi Cheng even threatened to rape WSWs best friend at one point, just cause. I just find it ironic that in one case this kind of plot is praised and in another it’s condemned. no shade on those who liked RL though, I personally really like the show too, I just wanted to point out this discrepancy.

no if this happened to anyone it would be insane, just like how it would be insane for some rich billionaire to be pinning after some poor or mild class person. it’s fiction. and knight actually did nothing to mild (I lie, he did go ahead and kiss mild without full consent when mild wanted to end the relationship, which was terrible on his part). but to blame shows like this for people who go out into the world and do things to others unconsensually is also crazy to me. most people have a moral compass and should be taught/learn what’s right from wrong. it’s just like how people can play games like fortnight or cod and not feel the need to go out into the world and actually murder someone. I just think it’s ridiculous to blame a show for the fucked up mindset of actual rapists. also college students and adults can be imperfect, yes it was fucked up for knight to kiss mild when mild clearly wanted distance, but youre painting knight as some super villain who was purposefully taking advantage of and assaulting some unassuming guy. knight should not have done that, and the way the situation was dealt with wasn’t satisfactory. but that’s literally all there is to it (in my opinion).

not here to fight you on your opinion btw. I agree with your sentiment that this plot was not needed. it was just completely unnecessary for them to add that scene where mild is obviously being raped only to come back two episodes later to say that this wasn’t the case. in this instance I just chalk it up to terrible writing. but I would not say that in the case of this show that rape was glorified or that the rapist got off with no consequences because knight simply didn’t rape mild, and when everyone thought he did, milds brother and some friends distanced themselves and mild put an end to the relationship (despite still being willing to here him out I guess for closure purposes).

I think it gets better sometime in the middle, but personally I can't seem to finish this either. I started it when it finished airing, but I'm just now coming back to finish it.

okay, this series isn't as bad if you skip like half of each episode

Based on the comments I have read, apparently the story in both TWM and Bad Romance don't add up (I haven't watched Bad Romance yet, I'm purely going off of what I have read). So ig you could watch this series first, then Bad Romance, then the next chapter.... But overall, it doesn't really matter which one you watch first

There are two endings... The original ending is sad however I guess they remade the second movie so it is the same all the way through but the ending in the remade version is different... So you probably watched the movie with the happy ending... Also, next time please tick the spoiler box because you just spoiled the end of both movies for someone who was looking at the comments without watching the movies prior...

immean I think he did.... Guessing that this is the last movie for this series and the how the the last two scenes of this movie were set up I think he died.....
