I was reading this old beef between these people and someone wrote "straight fetishizer", its my first…
"Following rules of nature"
You broke nature's rules the moment you logged onto the internet and typed on a glowing rectangle made of metal and glass
A narrow, prescriptive interpretation of normality translates into an undue emphasis on "straightness" at the expense of other orientations. That's fetishization
Literally, there are a handful of people just trolling the comment section to hate on literally the only Omegaverse…
I've seen omegaverse sink its teeth into novels and comics, acting as a horny parasite and devouring otherwise decent stories from the inside out. Changing the format won’t change what it is
"Pit Babe" was garbage. Popularity and quality aren’t friends, they haven’t spoken in years
There's nothing bold or daring about following a script that lets fake hormones do the heavy lifting
"One may think that the production company is your enemy and the actors are your brothers"
At last, someone understands. My brothers were captured and condemned to a life of hormonal mind control and irreversible secondhand embarrassment. I’m trying to bring them home

A fellow connoisseur of the finer things, I see!
I have yet to delight in the experience of watching "As the Gods Will." The survival game premise laid out in the synopsis reminds me of "Squid Game" and "Night Has Come." I'm curious to find out what it has in store for me
Your support has been a blessing, and I wish to return the favor by offering you mine. I'm a message/DM away if you ever need me

Some of my favorites include "Vigilante," "The King of Pigs," "Taxi Driver," "Voice," "Mouse," "The Veil," "Blind," and "The Guest." Each one brings its unique sense of suspense and intrigue

The frustration you've been experiencing when talking to other people about problematic media is something I can identify with. Each time you speak up, however, you're planting seeds of change. I'd encourage you not to give up on these conversations
My go-to genres are non-romantic (thriller, mystery, action, etc). On the occasions I watch BL/GL/gay romance, I prefer those featuring healthy relationships. Themes of pedophilia and incest aren't part of my viewing preferences

It's refreshing to find another person who shares my perspective on omegaverse and so-called "mpreg." Thank you for being a part of the conversation
I believe omegaverse fans' defensiveness arises from a fear of cognitive dissonance. To accept that their preferred genre is homophobic and misogynistic, they'd have to confront their role in exacerbating societal ills. That'd shatter their self-perception as champions against injustice. They'd be no better than the homophobic, misogynistic majority they criticize. And they don't want to be "the bad guys"
"What are your thoughts about people defending adult- child relationship using the argument that " it is okay because they are adolescents"; "they are of age now(groom1ng)", "or age of consent is ...... blah blah blah in this country so it is okay". I think their hard drives need to be checked"
I'd tell them law isn't a definitive moral guide. A child or minor, regardless of reaching the legal threshold for consent, doesn't have the emotional maturity and life experience to engage in a healthy relationship with an adult
"I also wanted to inquire are you also disgusted by romanticization of psuedo-infest because I find it very detestable because no one ever calls it out"
Are you referring to relationships between non-biological siblings and familial arrangements? Incest might undermine the trust and safety within the family unit, I don't support it
I regret to inform everyone that I'll withdraw from the comment section to attend to personal matters in the offline world. I will, however, be sure to return upon the drama’s release to leave and contribute a review
To wrap up my points, I'll assert that omegaverse doesn't break new ground. It adheres to human and non-human "straight" relationship patterns, wherein pregnancy is a consequence of interactions among parties involved. Omegas bear the children of alphas, alphas bear the children of enigmas, etc. And the unifying factor is that heat and pregnancy mark the end of the character's identity as a man. An in-depth analysis, unfettered by contemporary gender identity politics, would expose the "straightness" of omegaverse to anyone
There seems to be a disproportionate response to anti-omegaverse comments. Dislike or criticism of the genre is met with disapproval, while vitriolic attacks and name-calling from fans aren't subject to the same scrutiny or disapproval: https://imgur.com/1NahEs3
This says a lot about the kind of fans omegaverse attracts

Do you have any favorite thrillers yourself?

"Taste evolves. So should Morals"
Taste and morals don’t come with this much noise and defensiveness
"May your dreams be gently interrupted by Alphas, Betas, Omegas, and Enigmas, hovering at 2AM over your bed"
Therapy’s down the hall, don't forget to take the werewolves with you
"Mind your own business, dear mere mortal"
I’ll mind my own business once omegaverse minds its own plots
You say "recycle leftovers" as if your comment wasn’t stitched together from expired internet takes and soggy metaphors
"These open-minded souls"
They’ve opened their minds so far, the hinges snapped and their brains fell out
