Unfortunately, I agree. It was really awesome at the beginning. Started out as about a 9.5 show. Good plot, good action... but by the end, Joo Won was the only thing I was watching it for, and they pretty well ruined his character while simultaneously fading him into the background. *le sigh* Oh, well.
