Hey Guy! Maybe you can help me with this one! I found a funny video on Instagram where they joke with the usual mindset of the rich male lead that instead of choosing the rich or popular female lead, they choose the poor one! While I completely understand the appeal behind those shows, I sometimes feel bad for the second female lead, because they are only bad because the writers make them bad, but in reality, they (most of the time) are a perfect match for the male lead!
Please recommend me a show where the male lead is rich, and the female lead has the profile often used for second female lead as rich girl. If the show has no break up or a very short one, even better! Thanks in advance!
I'm on episode 3, and the FL definitely likes ML from the first meeting. It was mutual, but ML backed out when…
Yes, I agree with you. I strongly believe that the male lead would sacrifice his feelings if she didn't like him or if she kept her distance. Maybe he would have been unhappy for some time, but I believe that being the way he is, he would most definitely found someone else after sometime, but on the other hand, she would live with regret for the rest of her life
Watching episode 8 so far. It's definitely slow. This show is entertainment. Hope nobody actually follows what…
I am on my fourth rewatch and I agree with you. You can love someone, but you should love yourself more.
I guess this fulfills the fantasy of million of women that wish for a man to just be there waiting for them regardless of who they are and what they do, someone who is willing to sacrifice himself for them even if it means pain.
I don't think the main characters are spoiled. I believe that they are imperfect but perfectly normal with flaws,…
I have to agree with you on the fact that the leads are not your usual perfect pair that are not capable of doing anything wrong, and if they ever do is because of either self sacrifice for the greater good or the other person. I feel like that's why some of us like these two leads, because they don't belong in a fairytale but still portrait that true love that conquers all that we seek in romance by the end.
However, I do understand your words because from all the characters the top three that get on my nerves are Gi Seok, The father and the female lead herself with all of her selfishness, "confusion" and almost by the end how she couldn't support him "once" after all he did was drunk talk... but I guess I still like they character because she was driven, stood up to her family and ended up taking the male lead's side.
I am not trying to change your mind, I understand why you hate it.
i couldn't complete SITR but this one is masterpiece
You didn't miss anything good enough... the show had a great potential but the female lead never had real character development, and the main issue was not even solved by the end...
No, no, no, no! This is so wrong on so many levels!!! Could have been something but it is a disaster full of clichés…
I don't think the main characters are spoiled. I believe that they are imperfect but perfectly normal with flaws, but interesting personality. Both leads have their own reasons to act the way they do, and thankfully their love wins in the end.
The breakup scenario is quite complicated to explain. ML and FL broke up years ago (they had a son after the breakup…
Sorry I used my reply to vent a little bit, and is not against this list of shows (I deeply appreciate this list), my rant is about the shows themselves and their writers that think that the best is to waste time with a stupid love triangle even though the girl will not end up with the other guy...
I want more shows like Love O2O where the leads are together throughout the whole show basically, or "My Sunshine" that had cliches and angst, but waiting for the episode where they finally got together was worth it and instead of just "the end" after they got together, we saw them going through the plot together.
Or, a classic like "Golden Bride", that showed us an actual married couple for once, and not another "fake" marriage (which is not fake because they are actually legally married most of the time) and they cannot even hold hands because I guess they are 8 years old.
I know not all shows can be how I "love" them, but I hope that in the same way some people like melodramas, and there are a lot of melodramas, there are a lot of those I like...

I appreciate the correction! I am not feeling motivated to watch this one! since in my mind, by "no break up" show, I mean a show where we get to see the actual relationship most of the episodes, and not one where they get together towards the end or at the end, because of course they won't break up (some do because torture I guess) since that's just ending...
I want to see as much as possible throughout the show, because at the end I am just left with imagination, and if imagination is what I have to rely to, might as well close my eyes and just create my own story in my mind with my imagination.
The whole point of "watching" is that "watching", I want to watch the romance and the dating, and the "true love" conquering all and defeating all obstacles, instead of 14, 20 and 30 episodes of two people trying to get together and that's it... you want to know what could have been? I guess you'll have to imagine the rest.
I was doing my research! and besides bad editing, the show seems to be good.It seems like they get "officially"…
I do not know if it is because I exhausted my patience with "Oh, My Sweet Liar", but I find episode 16 to be too far for a 24 episodes shows, and if they are even going to fight after that... very sad. I may need a break from Dramaland, since I don't have the patience right now.
