I've just binge watched this in 2-days! I'm now asking myself, why did I bother and can I have my lost life hours…
I feel you completely! I am on episode 6, and I am only putting myself through this torture with the hope that romance will be somewhat good when they finally get together.
I can forgive episode 1, but now on episode 6 and the pushing around and teasing between the main leads is not getting to me nor I find it funny. It does not help that all side characters without exception are annoying up until this episode.
If dragging this until episode 12 (when they get together) wasn't annoying enough, they introduce an unnecessary and heavy love triangle as soon as episode 1. I understand that some love triangles contribute to character development, the plot or even the main romance, but I don't get any of that from this guy other that getting in between the actual thing (romance) here.
I don't want to, but I can't help to skip and fast forward by now to see if I can get to the actual romance and fingers crossed it can make up for the horrendous first 10 to 12 episodes...
I don't skip until 12 now because I need the context. I have a feeling this will be a waste of my time.
Hola! Just started watching this one, but the comedy seems to be over the top and the plot is weak. I know we…
Yes, this have a love triangle! and if you (like me) don't really get some of the comedy here, you will suffer the constant presence of the secondary male lead behavior like he is the FL's shadow.
It gets worse because the initial relationship between the main leads is that of teasing each other, while this other guy is the classic friend that has been in love with the FL since forever but have never acted upon it. He spends so much time in her house and around her that he could be her actual brother by now (episode 6)...
No Love Triangles? I am on episode 2, and this other guy is all over the place with a lot of screentime, and he…
Good news! I did my homework, and while it is true that he likes her and spends a lot of screentime with her, she never likes him. Now that I know this, I can focus on main leads interaction until they finally get together on episode 11 to 12.
Hola! Just started watching this one, but the comedy seems to be over the top and the plot is weak. I know we are not supposed to take it seriously but too many things make no sense here.
No Love Triangles? I am on episode 2, and this other guy is all over the place with a lot of screentime, and he…
Hey! I am on episode 3, and right from the start on episode 1 there this lawyer friend who obviously likes FL. It is not clear if she likes him, but she is around her Everytime he gets a chance.
I started watching this one just recently, and I am now on episode 2. The show seems good enough, and the comedy…
... already seen the FL crush so hard on this other guy, that it was hard to believe she was deeply in love with the ML.
On another hand, the trope of the perfect guy being secretly or openly in love with the FL, while she is obviously somewhat interested, but for some reason the guy has been just "there" for years until the male lead shows up, is BS.. since if they liked each other they would have been dating by now.
Overall, love triangles like this ones can help causing some jealousy, but that's only Okay if is for short scenes during an episode or two, instead of making this other guy somewhat of another lead whose only purpose is to waste time that could be used otherwise developing the plot, side stories or the actual romance.
I started watching this one just recently, and I am now on episode 2. The show seems good enough, and the comedy helps to not take the possible conflicts in the show too seriously. I don't like love triangles, and this show is a perfect example why; while in some shows the love triangle is part of the plot or at least contributes to character development, shows like this one has that element for no reason.
My main problem with this is that with this kind of love triangles we waste too much time on a pair that will not end up together instead of developing the actual main couple to make it feel more realistic when they finally get together.
I had this problem with another drama, where they insisted so much on the Love Triangle that by the time the main leads got together, it didn't feel unique or genuine, since we have had..
I will give "Because I am Meeting You" a try as my next drama!
Hola! I was able to complete this one a few days ago, and the show had a million plot holes, repetitive situations that were one, two and three too many for anybody not to identify the lies and/or act to stop the villains schemes, however, surprisingly enough, the story is good, the romance is great and karma comes after every single bad people here! I liked the show very much, but one watch will be more than enough!
A few things keep me watching this by now.The family drama is heavy and the schemes and lies are everywhere, but…
Completed.
Family Drama is there until the last episode, but honestly prefer that than having the main couple having a million misunderstandings or breaking up for every little thing. What bothered is that the whole scheming and lying got repetitive and felt draggy for the last 20 episodes or more. There is no way somebody can fall in the same traps infinite times.
Karma came for the bad ones, but the good and the bad was out of balance. We have some shows where something really bad happens and the villain does everything to keep that secret safe, but here, the bad guy (girl) kept doing bad after bad after bad, to the point of being ridiculous.
My biggest complain is in the plot holes, since all the lies could have been easily solved, but the writers forced us to believe that it was impossible when it was obvious and everything had a million ways to come out in the open, at least after episode 18 when everyone is living in the same city.
The romance was excellent. The main leads had an amazing chemistry, and for once they were coherent, since they behaved and sometimes even looked how they were when they where children. The female lead pushed the male lead away and was "funny" rude way too many times, but our ML was just perfect so he would always know how to turn things around.
There were no major misunderstandings, and no break ups after the main leads got together around episode 25, but being a family drama you can imagine that everything else beside the main leads and their romance took a lot of screentime, including the villains.
Overall, the show was good and you get involved to the point where you disregard the obvious plot holes while you wait for karma to finally hit. Every actor did an amazing job for this production and kudos to the accidents and car crashes scenes, they were very good!
Suffer the family drama, enjoy the beautiful and invincible true love and get rewarded with karma, specially in the last episode.
This is a 7/10 for me, but romance alone would be 8.5/10!
The family drama is heavy and the schemes and lies are everywhere, but the story is still interesting unless you are rushing for all truths to be in the open.
Because of Karma, it may take some time for the bigger events to get justice, but I can predict that it will be huge!
And, the romance between the main leads is amazing! and according to comments here it defeats all obstacles and keeps getting better and better.
I will come back to this comment when I complete this one to confirm if everything above holds.
I wish I had read your comment before I spent 20 episodes dying of rage so I couldn't stop watching it at the…
I am on episode 26 now, and I am looking for hope in this comments, because I will either start skipping everything but the main lead's or just drop this one! I like the romance, but the evil characters know no limits and is even getting repetitive by now.
Ok, I got my ep count off somehow...but after the story skips 5yrs, it got so much better. I skipped most of the…
I think I will follow your example and start skipping some of the scenes of the mothers and the wannabe sister. I am not stressed over them, and will watch them to see their character development, but whenever I find more of the same after I make it to episode 10, I will skip skip skip.
Hola! After watching the first episode I can safely say that you should be able to skip all the "competitions" part in the first few episodes and you wouldn't miss much, unless you are into embroidery, want to character development or just want the overall view of things. I am not saying the initial plot seems bad or boring, but I understand some people may want to get into the story after the introduction in the past.
You convinced me on the "Justice" part! I don't mind villains as long as they don't win, or the good is greater and satisfying afterwards! As long as the story doesn't drag and/or the bad ones always have the upper hand, I will like this one.
I can forgive episode 1, but now on episode 6 and the pushing around and teasing between the main leads is not getting to me nor I find it funny. It does not help that all side characters without exception are annoying up until this episode.
