I have to agree that the plot is weak and the chemistry is not there yet. I don't think this will get any better, but if character development exists, there is still hope for the show to be enjoyable by some people.

Title Love Endures Spoiler
How bad is the love triangle?
Another comment... who in the world thinks that it is a good idea for the female lead to prioritize another man or spend more screentime with someone else when in romance the whole point is to enjoy the main leads together... I honestly don't understand why some people like to torture themselves with second lead syndrome when in every romance story the main leads are meant to be together, and if they don't is just a sad ending...

Title Love Endures Spoiler
How bad is the love triangle?
Some people believe that love triangles are only formed when the the lead and second lead profess their love for each other, when the reality is that two people liking the same woman or man is a love triangle.

If Dramaland has shown me something is that romance is not only kissing and hugging, but caring and spending time with another.

I agree with you, this does sound annoying and I prefer the classic where the girl liked someone in the past and moved on, or straight up always reject the other guy, but giving special treatment while claiming that that is not romance is naive.

I have seen other dramas where this happen, where the female lead is literally going on dates with another guy and the only things missing to complete the relationship is basically a confession or kiss, or just putting a label on it.

My Sweet Mobster has this issue, where the female lead spends ridiculous amounts of time with SML doing things that by all means are dates (constant phone calls, meeting alone, eating together, walking together, buying things together and him taking her home every single time they go out).

I like my dramas where the leads are exclusive even if they have a past history with other people, but that only have eyes for each other in the present. I also believe that it is wrong for the female lead to prioritize another man over the male lead, so this alone is enough for me not to watch this show.

Thank you for saving me from this one...

I can't believe it's already been this long since it's release 😭 I still wish for more to come, even after…
At this point, the only thing that could continue the story is either a novel or something fan made 😅

This drama is consistently good...good at making me sleep halfway through each episode.
Result of nothing really happening most of the time

What do you mean by keeping our beliefs and personal issues aside? If the drama is contradicting with what I believe…
Fictional scenario based on true events, but instead of saying something like "we will destroy them", the focus is negotiation and reaching a peaceful solution. Unfortunately, your judgement is definitely clouded by your perception of what right even in fiction because this show is far from cringe, and even if you consider that you should know that this is a K-Drama so it is expected that it will show feelings and moments of vulnerability and intimacy in so many ways. The plot..? The plot is perfect since it fits the story and gets the message across of a couple that opened up to their real feelings and was able to overcome all obstacles. I honestly don't understand what you expect to find in a K-Drama within the romance genre if you insist beyond that you just don't like it because you chose to victimize yourself and feel offended over something that is fiction... (even when it is a fact that a certain country did attack another country terrorizing their people, killing, raping and kidnapping innocent bystanders triggering a counter attack that unfortunately involved more innocent people thanks to the same terrorist group not releasing the hostages and hiding between civilians...). We should be over this topic, but the truth remains; this is fiction, the focus was on a peaceful negotiation instead of more violence after an obvious a abusive attack from a terrorist organization, and a plot and romance that for the genre and the story.

Love your enemy definitely belongs to this list.
Hey Drama Lover! Can you spoil me a little bit... I heard that there is a love triangle with the kinda annoying guy that is not really a threat, but spends too much time with FL and in what episode do the main leads get together?

Because "The Mystery" was very well executed and you would be lying if say that you saw every that happened in the end from the beginning or that it was obvious... The whole point of mystery is give you enough information to keep you guessing, but not enough to put the whole picture together. Yes, this simple romance show deserved to use a political scenario, because it showcased both leads at the top of their careers which are both related to news and international events which shouldn't come as a surprise because the first episode does the exact same thing where the female lead is working on the news and the male lead was talking about a fictional international conflict, with the difference that are least in the last one the focus was the negotiations which means that nobody was hurt... Besides, this is a known real life scenario that actually happened, so why act like it never happened. Additionally, it has always happened that writers since the dawn of time use real life scenarios to create fictional ones...

You are making a storm in a glass of water. Nobody is supporting violence in the show. The whole point of using a real hostages situation as reference was to show us the male lead as a negotiator in very tense international scenario. It is debatable who is right or wrong, but that's not the intention here, but instead, it is to show that at least in this fictional scenario all reaches a peaceful solution thanks to the negotiations...

What do you mean by keeping our beliefs and personal issues aside? If the drama is contradicting with what I believe…
Yes, because nobody is taking sides and the whole point was to allow both male leads to shine at the top of their careers using a known international event as inspiration. An event that happened, for a country with a group of individuals that did take hostages, but instead of making them the evil, only use that example to allow the male lead to show in a few light as a negotiator which blames no one side but enforcers the idea that all sides were able to reach a peaceful situation.

Yes, "If the plot is bad and cringe", but the point is that it is far from it in this show. The plot is very well written and the romance is very good.

Again, you can disagree, but labels are not good arguments. Saying the whole show is bad for 10 minutes of controversy and misunderstanding is nonsense.
