EP 1 to 7 character introduction and development.EP 8 to 15. FL and Her Dream guy 🤢🤢 story past and presentEP…
I hate when they dedicate too much time to love triangles. We are supposed to be immersed in the true love between the main leads, but when we are presented with another love interest and for so long we get disconnected from the main couple instead of watching their connection grow and become something not only beautiful but believable. It is hard to convince one self that the female or male lead love each other when you already watched close to 10 episodes of a different thing breaking the exclusivity of the main couple.
I was very curious about "Goong", but after some research... it seems like one of those dramas with a persistent heavy love triangle, where the third person gets too much screentime, and the female lead spends so much time with him that they might as well be dating. I don't believe in SLS, because in my book, only the main leads are supposed to be together, and developing the "romance" of anybody else with them is taking from their development as a couple.
Without giving to many spoilers can someone tell me how the plot and the writing is? I really don’t like dramas…
The plot and writing are both very good! It is like a war game but in the world of the food business! The characters have distinctive personalities and motives. This is one of my favorites!
The ML 's BFF statts liking the FL but he never interferes in their romance and just likes her from afar
That makes no sense. His best friend has seen how crazy ML is about FL, why would he even entertain that thought... Writers just love any level of love triangle...
Which makes you think... what is even the point of some love triangles..?
We are supposed to be immersed in the story. In a romance story, we are supposed to be immersed in the main lead's romance, but then you get a show that wastes hours with another guy, and we are expected to still feel like whatever happens between the main leads is authentic even when those love triangles break their momentum...
i wouldn't say 3 love triangles, 2 out of them were more like 1/2 eps long, more like passerby, her high school…
I agree. Love Triangles come in all shapes, and they only need at least two people interested in the same person to be a love triangle. The best is to have no love triangles, or at least, that those don't get too much screentime, or too much attention from the involved party from the main couple.
