Do you realize that FengYin has been killed TWICE by GuJin? LOL. Of course she was freaking pissed off. 1) XiuYan saved FengYin because she had given her half her inner immortality (or whatever you call it). He was a god himself and has the power. His backstory is very interesting so let's hope drama shows all of it. 2) XiuYan decides that FengYin needs reincarnations to strengthen her essence. When she returns, she'll have demigod status. Also, AhYin must really "die" to get that last piece of FengYin's soul piece back into that Magic Amulet thingy everyone wants. The Magic Amulet thingy is called a MacGuffin in Western drama talk, btw. 3) FengYin returns with a vengeance. She chooses not to let anyone recognize her. So although we see Ah Yin,the others don't. But of course, those who were close to her recognized certain things. Also, FengYin returns wanting to investigate Daze Mountain events. 4) GuJin is wondering how FengYin knows so much, all the details, like she had been there. FengYin also likes to eat the same things and has certain gestures he recognized. What the hell is happening, heh heh heh. He secretly follows her everywhere. 5) FengYin goes to XiuYan to thank him for his care during those 1000 years. GuJin follows her and when she turns her head, he sees his soul mark! He goes all happy but FengYin cuts him down and says here is the line, you fracking horrid bendan. No relationship between us because you're the biggest bendan of them all (OK, I'm making all this dialogue up but you get what is said). GuJin didn't care. He has Ah Yin back in there somewhere. He loves, loved, whatever AhYin and is just obsessively following FengYin around now. 6) Then he finds out it was FengYin who saved him all those years ago and not HuaShu. That bendan.
That's the gist of it. But Hua Shu Bitchcock is still going to make trouble. Lotsa trouble.

I can't remember why, if it was even mentioned. Maybe it's a plot hole. Was he called away for something? I can't remember if he was talking to his father, who had just been reborn. Yes, it all depends on how much they're going to show his suffering. In the book, he went crazy looking for her. He knew her essence (or whatever it's called) is somewhere because he put his soul mark on her, remember? This is an important point that saved AhYin from totally disappearing. Anyway, yeah, if they show him suffering a lot, maybe the angry viewers will give him a little leeway, haha.
