No, didn't see that show. I'm ready to see how the director and writer(s) have plan out the second half after AhYin. There is so much in the novel, no way they can include it all. I'm really quite impressed at the amount of info they've managed to squeeze in in the first 13 episodes. Most of info have been very subtle, said with one sentence here and there, and have to be connected. Those who fast-forward a lot obviously are left with parts missing.

WRTW was rewritten to give YangYang more story because he was top billing. But honestly. The whole story was about Bai. It started with her and ended with her.
As for our favorite Lord of the Underworld, bwahaha. I’m betting on him. Winkwink
so we are all at ep 20 and honestly I'm dying from waiting they really left us cold turkey, I wanna talk about…
The actor playing Ao Ge is hot both here and in WRTW. Actually, in the book WRTW, the general he portrayed did not die so early. He was actually one of.Bai fengxi’s many suitors and she liked him very much. Yes, he should star opposite LuSi in the future because both times I have seen him with her, they just show so much chemistry together.
As for the drama, Ao Ge and his twin have such an interesting backstory. Not sure whether the drama will show any of this. However, he does have a pivotal role with Ah Yin’s soul. Her saving the injured twin is important.
I understand that this is a very subjective question, but should I watch this? It's been months since I've actually…
It depends whether you like the xianxia genre. The tropes can get so annoying LOL. it’s usually the acting that saves it for me.
This drama—LuSi is doing all the heavy lifting. I mean, ALL. The others are fine, but if you are side by side with LuSi, you’d better bring your Agame or you’ll just fade into the background. Because LuSi can chew up scenery like no one I know. That’s why Wu Lei was such a great match for her in LLTG; he brought his A-game.
This year, Lost You Forever was better in terms of many of the stars also brought their A game. Ummm Except Deng Wei, who was outshone by the other two male leads.
Love You Seven Times had a gorgeous set but couldn’t keep me. Don’t want to beat down on the FL but she really couldn’t command center stage acting-wise. But purrrrty costumes.
1) Someone yesterday mentioned that GuJin really didn't destroy them, that he faked it. He did it to make sure AhYin gives up on him. Your thoughts on this possibility?
2) Here is another theory I have: GuJin had already begun loving AhYin again and had a new love thread already. That's why he was so upset with GuGu and that's why he hurt so much doing what he did to AhYin. What he destroyed was his old memories with AhYin, but his heart was already filled with love. What do you think?
3) Here's a third possibility, Gu Jin could do what he did because he had lost that love thread, so what he was feeling was his old self--loyalty for his clan, brotherly love for AhYin and also, his sense of responsibility. He had no feeling of true love (lost with the threads), so his decision was based on his old self. His loyalty and sense of responsibility won out and so he sacrificed his love thread to save his clan. But but but....
When he saw that AhYin sacrificed half her life and how near-death she was, he rushed around giving up so much to save her. There was obviously love in his actions. He panicked and hugged her when she woke up and AhYin was so surprised. So, is that the old thread that he pretended to destroy or a new thread that had grown some time either before or after the destruction?
Just thoughts for discussion while we wait for Monday :).
