The couple's chemistry, the word puns as they flirted endlessly, the revenge was actually a revenge(!) and satisfying, the villains (totally amazing villains), the cinematography, the OST stays in your head, iconic scenes throughout. Only thing is, again, because I read your OP, please stop at Episode 40 right at the wedding around the 30 and half minute mark and click OFF! Then go find Episode 40.5 for five minutes of cute marriage bliss.

The novel SUCKED donkey balls. Only it had a HE. But the novel ML should have suffered more than our drama MRJH. All the things he did to Mei Lin were horrifying.

Yup, and I don't even get the poisoning reason because he was going to sacrifice her in the beginning anyway. There was no need to poison her.

Both males were so stupid. ML could have given it to her while she was unconscious injured and then have that stupid 2ML take her away.
2ML could have given it to her when they were visiting her hometown for a few days there.

When you get to the final episode, stop right at the wedding and fadeout (around minute 35). Do NOT continue and you'll have your happy ending with nothing crazy happening.
