It's all a long con. XiyanGreenTeaPrince always play the nice guy but he isn't. :) The rating deserves to go down for the Xiyan episodes. It should go back up for the next two episodes. Then go down again if Mei Lin dies at the end and ending is BE. That's how it goes around here.

I'm waiting for spoilers. If it's bad, I'll watch the first wake up/fake happy ending ala Journey To Love and then just stop there. You know there's always a fake happy ending.

Of course everything went wrong. Because there's always court politics, XiyanGreenTeaBiotchPrince!
So someone hanged Mei Lin, I think, while XiyanGreenTea was off either being punished or practicing confessing, who knows.
And oh our poor JingHe! The beatup on XiyanGreenTeaPrince was satisfying to watch. Did the latter cut off his hand? Surely not, or all that blood loss would have weaken his run a tad.
AND we get the famous whipping the ground scene and JingHe and MeiLin in wedding attire with JingHe vowing to join MeiLin in death. Will MeiLin wake up in time to bite her JingHe back to sanity?
Will he die? What's going to happen?
Give me some theories :).

Have you guys not seen the part in the trailer where she stumbled and he was holding her on the ground when he came back after battle? I thought I saw it on Weibo.

None to be blamed? How about if XiyanGreenTeaPrince had just agreed to save Mei Lin with NO condition the first time round during that conversation when JingHe asked for the cure? Noooooo, he wanted a Pretend Kunlun Moon to take home, so he made up this elaborate lie to his father. If he had not had this con going and made JingHe break up with his beloved Mei Lin, things might have been different. No, actually, things would have been different, Mei Lin still might have died, but there would actually have been a revenge plot with them fighting the Clown Prince together. Bah.

And she could smell him and when she was on his back hugging him, she recognize the feel o him. The pain! ahhhhhhhh
