Love Marcus too! I do like reviews and there are others on YouTube who at least gives a drama a fair shot and if they dropped it, they mention it and give their reasons. Which is fair, depending on how it's done.

They seem to be looking for a different genre to watch. Not a historical romance but more like straight historical, where rape, torture and toxic stuff between main characters are the norm. That's OK if that's what they want, but this genre is not it to depict those elements.

The drama is NOT following the novel in any exact way. If you have read the novel, you know very well there is NO WAY the ML can be done exactly like the novel. The novel ML was a rapist, allowing rapes and torturing the FL in various cruel ways that would not be in anyway acceptable as a romantic drama.

This drama is not the novel. It is a loose adaptation. If you're looking for the novel character, this is not the drama for you.

No. The novel is just a shell of how RICH the drama adaptation is. The novel is different in tone and manipulations. The characters in the novel are not romantic although the author tried to force it so. There is no rape in the drama,

Novel is toxic and cannot be adapted. You won't like the novel ML, trust me. The drama presented it better--he was cruel only from reputation. He did have a cruel plan but it was foiled as soon as it started in the palace because our heroine had her own thing going. It is a superb rewriting of the awful Wattpad attempt of the original novel.

Yes, it is better to convince her viewers and fans to reconsider than to rant. She has her funny moments, but many times the last few years, she has just been bored (she mentions this over and over) and a bored reviewer does not give anything positive for entertainment. This drama ENTERTAINS and that's the point she's missing.
