and the villain why is no one talking about it ? -- like they build up so well TO DO THIS !!! man so so so disappointing…
the actor who played the bad guy said to not look for a specific motivation for his character because he was just a bad guy. his fate was to mess with sol/jae. he went on to say that Sol was just in the wrong place wrong time for him.
2. when did she blame others? Her inner thoughts shared how she became who she was. the show is her journey of how she's is healing with a 2nd life and frankly esp. in ep 12 she is still trying to unlearn years of manipulation/trauma.
3. I think she is resilient. but not 100% bulletproof. How awful would it be to see someone "reborn" and suddenly be kickass w/out seeing her journey? I think that she realized that she received a precious gift from her father and will do her best to live it to her fullest.
4. the whole show is about how she realized her short comings and how she is overcoming them. She stopped letting people walk over her. Learned to lean on good people and found legit good friends.
5. It was a slow progression of her opening up to him throughout the show that allowed her to fall in love with him. Ep 10 - 55:55 when see her at the ice rink.... shows that clear as day. She said in ep 11. 35:17 that "I think this is what I really wanted dad, not being alone. Standing on firm land and not let any wave shake me. It was so easy, all I needed was one person by my side. I think I really have one now."
Jiwon's response to situations doesn't make her weak.
I'm prob in the minority to say that ep 12 was fine? It just felt like slightly clunky set up episode. I will say that I do think casting Boa was not the best choice and think that they should have hired someone who has better diction and range. I also think Yura entering in the middle of the show was not a good idea but at the end of the day they were following the novel not webtoon so yeah source material just not giving.... That being said. I understand that people were frustrated by JiWon's actions to JiHyuk in this episode. But I think points are being missed and frankly are blinded by ep 11. Let’s circle back to what Jiwon had to go through. Her mother walked out because she cheated on her father. Got horribly bullied in high school and was manipulated throughout her whole life. Had a husband who was abusive mentally, verbally and physically. Had to live with a horrific mother-in-law. Then had to go through the pain of having cancer and while dying realized she was being manipulated and finds out her best friend is sleeping around with her husband. Oh, and can’t forget being killed. Trust issues are would just be a scratch on the surface to what Jiwon would be going through. When Jiwon was meeting up with Yura, I realized why she backed away from JiHyuk. She must have felt like she was Sumin. She felt like she became the one thing she hated the most - The other woman. With that being said the story has been fun thus far, I am praying that they wrap up the story well.
Started this and I surprisingly like it? I don't get why Na In Woo is getting so much hate on tiktok. He was pretty good in the first 2 eps... i just need his stylist to be fired b/c those suits are horrendous.... Can't wait to see the next eps!
I finally got a chance to sit down and watch the last ep.. I cried and laughed so much while watching this show... It brought me so much warmth. I'm going to miss my Watermelon Sugar gang + CheonAh and Sekyeong. VIVA LA VIDA!
