I'm disappointed that Shen Yue doesn't have enough screen time in Love in Pavilion. I paid only to watch Shen Yue. I'm not a fan of costume drama at all, but when she's on, I'm engaged and interested. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of all the special effects. Hopefully, she will have more screen time before the last episodes.

My thoughts exactly. I enjoyed the guest characters more. I'm not a fan of this sort of drama; I prefer modern dramas. The index ratings should be higher than 8.5 as of today. It deserves way higher. Personally, I enjoyed Shen Yue's character with her older sister. She is such a natural and interesting actress. She engages the audience to keep coming and is eager to watch.

I don't get fantasy drama at all. Having effects in drama does not show the talent or the ability of an actor to me. But Cdrama are 70% fantasy/historical drama and I didn't enjoy them at all. I love the culture and the customs , but I just don't enjoy the acting ... sorry 😞

In my opinion Smile Code was one or if not the best cdrama in 2024. I saw some drama which I skipped from the first episode, whilst SC I've obsessively watched over and over again, not kidding more than 20 times. And that says a lot because I have high standards. The actor's ML/FL chemistry was 100% theiractingn and the other actors also wereexceptionall. It pains me that the network didn't give them any awards. Awards don't really matter to be honest, most awards are awarded to not-so-good dramas and favourites, Shen Yue is a fantastic actress I just wish she could pick up more challenging roles and do more movies and away from drama .
