Plus, just wanted to point out that Lee Joonggi is no matter what way better actor.I get that some people love…
In my opinion ac is the drama which proved that SJK has more to give than just a pretty face. He nailed the twins in every way from unique expressions to deep emotions etc. His other dramas I don't know much about, as I haven't watched them, but I still loved him in this. To say that he was good in ac just because of his looks or fans sounds like an understatement to me.
There was no kingdom in s1. Its all about an union of tribes. Some tribes and clans. Of course some clans (as…
It's fine to prefer different actors. However, there's no need for him to look more rough as long as you get the idea of his character. Saya is meant to be mysterious and unpredictable in the first place. Not looking scary and dangerous from the start. I can see it being a problem only if you like more straightforward characters.

It's because you don't understand his character well enough. The assumption that those with malicious tendencies must always look particularly evil is stereotypical and unrealistic. The whole point is that Saya's appearance is rather deceiving. He's not quite as innocent as he first looks.
Essentially Saya isn't even totally bad. He has two opposite sides, one is vulnerable and caring, another proud and twisted. Softer look together with cunning facial expressions and body language enhances these polarities in his nature making him more mysterious. To me, that is one of the most captivating qualities about Saya.
I actually love the fact that the characters aren’t one dimensional. You don’t know who is a hero or a villain.…
Haha I know, I just suddenly got that inspiration to analyse his character more😂 I've seen so many saying he was weak so just wanted to give my perspective, nothing more.

I get your point but wouldn't say Eunseom was necessarily weak in s1. There wasn't much he could have done. Thinking how much he suffered, I would say he was actually very strong. Whenever the situation allowed it, he didn't gave up trying and managed to find his own power after all the hardships. That's what made him mentally powerful. He had his weaknesses but so did Tagon and Saya. Kanmoreu must have meant that he wasn't strong enough to evoke his powers or something similar. Eunseom was a human after all (or igutu) and at some point anyone would've been impacted by the experiences he had to go through, even the strongest one.
I'm sorry, but what happened to Saya?! He doesn't resemble himself in the slightest. And the wig even looks ugly…
I get exactly what you mean. Honestly, when I watched the new season I couldn't get my mind off the fact that they hadn't almost any resemblance to the season 1 when it comes to the styling. Very annoying and unnecessary choice which makes it challenging to think that the new actors are the same as the characters we learnt to know from season 1. They should have checked their priorities better. Literally zero commonsense to change something like that when it's already really hard to adjust to new faces and vibes. There's no excuse good enough to not even try to style them similarly.
Excited! Guys, I understand your sadness and disappointment. BUT if you loved the drama and story, and not just…
Thanks for understanding ^^ I may see the first episode out of curiosity. Maybe it will surprise me positively who knows. The problem is that even though the story is interesting, the main characters were the soul of the show and they carried it.
However, I agree that actors doesn't deserve any hate and hopefully are succesfull in their new roles. Constructive opinions are a different thing ofc.
The main cast was so iconic and memorable, together they made this story alive! Especially Song Joong-kis Saya was a very alluring and unique character with a lot of depth. I've got nothing against the new leads and understand there's not many choices if the old actors have dropped out. In the end it's their decision and of course I'll respect that. I just think that once in a time there's a certain kind of expectional roles which are basically impossible to replace, even if the new actors could be good. So I can't help but feel genuinely heartbroken at this point.
The fact that the lastest episode ended on such a critical cliffhangers doesn't make it any easier to get over the change. Season 1 took much time building the story towards the climax and the upcoming 10 years gap sounds pretty concerning when it comes to the important plot elements... While on the other hand makes it easier to get used to the new faces.
I was so excited to see the character development continuing in the hands of the original actors but things are what they are I guess.
