Overall it was a cute drama, wish there was actually more romance, the cast did their best, with Bua Ben giving some of the best performances in the drama. It was a harmless watch and I wish they did more with the writing ( I mean how infuriating was ghost girl when she started the whole situation by inserting herself into it) but hey if you're bored on a rainy day, it's an easy watch.
Hey one thing I’ll say is this seems like it’ll be out of PMYs comfort zone hopefully and depending on how they adapt the webtoon. I just started reading it and it’s definitely has darker themes with elements of romance there. I’ve been disappointed with her last couple of dramas (ended up dropping love in contract) so I’m hoping this gives her acting and career the jilt it needs. I mean look what happened with Song Hye Kyo after she went for a darker drama with the glory. So I’ll give it a chance. I wonder who will play the chaebol ML and the villainous psycho best friend.
Ep1 was promising and I enjoyed the chemistry with the leads, the story is fascinating and has been introduced really well. If you are a fan of reincarnation stories and vengeful ghosts, this will be your cup of tea. It still has the usual bad guys,like in most Thai lakorns too but it’s not really that scary compared to the other supernatural genres I’ve seen so far.
Sigh I loved this show so much until the final episode, I was enthralled each week and mostly invested in grandpa’s and Do Juns relationship but that end really did a huge disservice to everything we went through with Do Jun, my investment and who’s journey I cared about was Do Jun not Hyun Woo and I think that’s why I was disappointed with the end. It didn’t feel satisfying and just left me empty but overall I would rewatch ep 1-15 and forget and the last episode.
This series had so much potential especially in the earlier episodes but it just was a big disappointment of lack of communication and drama even to the last episode like damn can the leads not fight about something for once. And it’s frustrating because they could have resolved their issues easily if they had just talked to each other like normal people do. Oh well I got through it by fast forwarding a lot, chemistry wasn’t bad either so it wasn’t totally a waste.
I think why I’m really liking this drama so far is that it depicts a mature relationship that I hardly see from cdramas. Both leads are as different as they come, but even with their differences they seem to listen and respect each others opinions. QS doesn’t look down on YH because he’s unemployed in fact she often seeks his advice on a lot of things and they mutually tackle issues together. Add to that the families are hilarious, usually supporting family members just annoy me but I love QS chaotic family drama as well as how supportive YH’s dad is. The office stuff can be sometimes a little too tedious and some scenes unnecessary but not enough to detract from the enjoyment of the show. Also what the heck is FeiFei’s issue, your man moved on his ex in most people’s eyes has moved on as well yet she still has an issue. What’s her beef with QS, girl let it go. PS that dream kiss was hot, cannot wait for the real thing.
Wow I’m loving this drama so far and this isn’t even because I’m one of those people that’s easy to please when it comes to tv shows or movies but the storyline and pace is all working for me. The first four episodes were average but it started picking up gas from episode five onwards. I can’t tell you how much I have cackled in some of the episodes especially ep 7. It’s obviously a slow burn with Yang Hua and Qin Shi and with 40 episodes it makes sense why they went that route. And I love that so far it’s a very mature drama, no unnecessary drama with the mains so far. They both know where they stand and are moving forward in a logical manner. Hopefully they don’t add illogical drama and keep it firmly in the romcom category with emphasis on comedy because that is where I will start to lose patience.
We won!!😭 After so long of waiting and anticipation it’s finally airing. But only on tencent no tv broadcast. I’m so glad I get to meet Qin Shi and Yang Hua.
Seems like the Nov 14th rumors are true barring nothing else happens and they don’t pull it again. But fan accounts have posted a schedule for the release tomorrow so fingers crossed. Also rumors said it would be tv and online but seems like melon accounts on twitter are saying it’s only on Tencent so if that’s true then why the rumors about deleting scenes if it’s not even airing on tv.

Maybe they can pull a oath of love and air different episodes for tv and for the web. Keep everything that was passed on the web episodes and do whatever cutting for the tv broadcast. That is still a big if the rumor is true.
But why would they pass the review or whatever they do in china if they were going to delete the intimate scenes later. That doesn’t make sense to me. If they were going to delete stuff like that, it should have been done during the licensing process. But hopefully it’s just a rumor and not true because those intimate scenes add to the chemistry and storyline of the actors.
Still waiting. This was my most anticipated YM drama for the year so I’m a little salty we got Thank you doctor before this. Why does C-ent prioritize medical, police and law dramas over romance genre. Sigh.
All the wrap up film gave me for YM and GJ’s story is angst and more angst. Not a lot shown to make an assessment on chemistry but it’s giving hard ass FL and soft puppy ML. I love that genre so bring it on. I wonder how soon in 2023 we get to watch.
Fans fighting over the most random things when this production has the most pretty people and costumes I have seen in a xianxia drama in a long time. I honestly do not care, and will not let them ruin my excitement and anticipation for this drama. Come on guys look at the pretty costumes.
Kinda intrigued by this, the premise of being a contract wife to multiple men is definitely something I haven’t watched before. And I feel like we may be getting a different Min young here so let’s see. This should tide me over until she and her perfect husband gets it together and decides to air.

Yes he mentioned more than a few times that WWWSK would be his last romcom. And good for him, he thrives in other genres so I’m glad he made that decision.
