(After watching the ep7) I have a feeling he will be the antagonist between the two leads. He told Yeon-su that he is a "bad boy" and can be fatal to women. I think he has another side of him that we haven't seen yet. He has plans and he hasn't reveal it at his point.

I have a feeling he's waiting for a certain outcome from their relationship before executing something as he said somewhere while filming Ung in an art museum. Somewhere along the lines of "what is it i'm trying to figure out again?". He's accepted the project for a reason.

Some possibilities could be:
- He wants to be sure of Yeon -su's real feelings towards Ung so he can finally go after her without betraying Ung
- He simply wants to see his best friend become lively again
- He wants them to hurt each other until they finally stop seeing each other (which is unlikely as you can see from the latest ep)
- He likes Ung and wants to ruin Yeon-su through the documentary (shocking but still possible)
