Same with the unpleasant flashbacks of previous Chinese BLs. That is a particularly annoying card the China likes to play with their BLs.
I am also waiting to be pleasantly surprised when China doesn't do what it has been doing with its other BLs. I feel like at this point the scandal would be so big that they bring dishonor to multiple generations if its not released.

I've seen post saying that they are delaying the release so they can get translations and dubbing done correctly as previous episodes have been rushed and not quite right.
I do know, and really we are lucky that we are getting what we are getting with anything BL related. I will forever praise Thailand for being the one pushing out the most in the BL world.
I do pay close enough attention to cultural differences to know the 21 vs 18 year old ages of adulthood/consents line- Not to mention that it was just freshly rehashed over on the Westie front with Thame-Po! ~And I have active conversations about the currently airing 'Boys in Love' series and who may more may not actually get kisses from each other given their ages when filming happened.
Last note: I come from the age of Sherlock, Merlin, and many other-- Its close enough and we can ship this and write it ourselves era. So I do know beggars can't be choosers! ~I am sending a friend request so we can chat it up in the DMs if you'd like.

Yea, I am on my own side of the fence when it comes to 'Euphoria'-- But then again I was never a Zendaya fan. I missed that bus about 10-15 years ago.
The immersion factor over casting in 'Sex Education' and 'Outer Banks' was not a big issue given actors ages for me. I enjoyed those.
Reiterating I that I DO actually like Joss Gawin ~ its just mostly plot issue given what the characters ages are supposed to be VS how his actual physical appearance is.

I DO LIKE GAWIN- Making that clear. Its just that part of the plot is immersion breaking FOR ME! If I could turn that recognition center off for this I would! [Not trying to troll, just opinion]
Here is the thing for me though, had they altered from the OG story and made it say his 28 or even 30th birthday-- It would fit better with the actor they choose. Taken and put them into an office setting or he is working at 7/11 or a coffeeshop and hustling at part-time gigs for extra cash doing the cater-waiter thing -- rather than back into college era school uniforms (which we all know how much they like putting all the BL boys at nearly any age into a school uniform~ thats a whole other issue)
There are other actors who are 22-24 who can still pull of this type story/plot in the BL industry WITHOUT altering the OG source material~~ Yes success is always questionable. But you can't tell me that there are not other young talented actors at GMMTV. SOME have even been in acting since their young teens and know what they are doing.
Sadly, yes that means we would need a different actor for Mark too-- and HEY back to the whole I actually like Fluke Gawin thing and I like his chemistry with Joss... Just plot immersion.
*Squeels* FINALLY ALL THE THINGS!!! I am absolutely SAT for Mond's villain era here! This episode finally put into play all the things I have been hoping for! Professor Nakan you pop off you~! (anyone else have a ghostship for Mond and Neo~ they are also supports in the upcoming project That Summer with WinSat? Is it just me-- okay cool goes back to my corner)
Also so glad we are getting more than a body guard that goes RAWR every time we get so much as a paper cut! Chemistry sets where brewing for this episode! ( I do still have an issue seeing Fluke as just under 20 though! sorry not sorry- Fluke is 27 years old... and I can see the difference// I understand we probably had go for older actors given the content... but just yeah...)

He is so busy with JASP.ER and his other projects that he just had to prioritize his time. We will get to see him as a main in "Love you Teacher" with Perth-- and not fighting for screen time as a supporting role here. Sadly as much as I would love to see him and all other others who had to leave for similar reasons in roles as vampires, I will respect that they are only human. :(
Lol Have we learned nothing?? Pilot trailers are great, but a lot can change between that and the actual show... The poster itself with them in the background( and in the Pilot trailer) horsing around reads bromance to me. I think they will be great support and allies. The pilot bit is cute but could also be all there is to it :/... Also I really want Paul's Kitty Cat Beanie.
All of that being said I can't wait for Book club for Kim and Mon (also hinted at in the regular trailer)-- Also looks like we get some decent mall crawl time with everyone.
Have to remember that these little supporting boys were also young enough that they had to abide by certain standers of when they could actually be on set as well... On top of whatever course work that they still had to maintain.
