Again i DIDNT say Oh wasnt upset about the flashcards. Im saying he felt upset because Teh made him feel unimportant and ignored. The flashcards were just the trigger Teh used to piss Oh off.
Its fine if u consider all my opinions as wrong. this is an open discussion. Everyone can interpret things differently.

I believe so. If we are saying about accepting and realizing "liking" then Oh was the first one to have this official feeling. But if we consider developing feelings and having a crush, I would consider Teh was first. Even though this was unclear to himself. From wanting to be best friends again he subconsciously wanted to become someone important to Oh.
I mistyped that part about the flash cards.I meant to say, Oh wasnt upset because of the flash cards themselve. He was upset Teh ignored him and treated him that way.
They both want to be someone important to each other, and feel upset when they are just considered same as the other frds

I think this may have been over thought. Oh said he liked Bas before he starting like Teh. They had just reunited as frds. Same as when Teh offered to tutor him. They had just become frds again. Oh has no idea and would never have thought Teh had any feelings for him yet. Which is why when Teh slowly did things for Oh only then did Oh slowly feel something between them.
Oh wasnt upset that Teh offered making flashcards for the others. Teh offered to do that just to make Oh upset and to show he wasnt special or different from their other frds. Teh was being childish and spiteful. He didnt talk to Oh when he arrived at school, and when he offered extra help to their frds he on purposely counted them one by one but skipped Oh. Oh didnt pay attention to Teh's instagram post, so Teh was just being " if u dont pay attention to me, I wont care about u".
A factor when when watching this series is that u gotta remind urself, they are high schoolers, not university students like most BLs. They dont understand much about the world, how to react socially, and most importantly, they dont understand alot about themselves and their feelings.

My interpretation was that he simply wished "what if he was a girl" . Would Teh accept him automatically if he had been a girl instead of a boy. And he felt so sad that he was a boy and liked boys. Why was his life so unfair.

Teh started developing feelings for Oh when he privately tutored Oh. Oh invted the other friends for dessert and Teh felt that it was supposed to be a moment between just the 2 of them. Teh started to feel neglected when Oh shared their private details (being a virgin still) . And its hinted to the viewers at the end of ep 2 whe Teh started feeling that coconuts smelled nice (which he found offensive all his life)
Oh started considering the possibility of liking Teh at the start of ep 2 when he pondered about Teh suddenly liking his coconut smell. It slowly developed as they spent more time together and Oh realized Teh was attentive and caring about him. Towards the end of ep 2 when Oh was alone on the ferry with Teh, I personally think , Oh started sensing things too. Why else would a person u haven't spoken to in years suddenly be so concerned about what u do and say with others? Which is why when they are playing around u see Oh touching Teh with his knee. Teh didnt retract either

Many viewers might think that Oh started only to realize he like dTeh starting in ep 3. But at the end of ep 2, when they are alone on the ferry, when Teh asks Oh not to give his time away to others u see Oh actually suspecting that Teh was already developing feelings for him. Which is why u see Oh using his knee to touch Teh as they play around. It may look like they were playing around, but Oh was actually testing Teh and himself if there was something more than friendship. Teh didnt realize what Oh was doing was what he told him to do to try if Bas liked him. Teh didnt pull away and Oh reconfirms this feeling between them in ep 3 when they arrive at the resort.
The color red color red is very symbolic in this series. Oh can only be seen wearing red when he is with Teh and its a potential scene about about their relationship. Which is also why he wore a red bra. He wore red when they met at the beach after staying at the resort and they were both having obvious feelings for each other. but he wore blue when he and Teh had their fights, and after the kiss he doesnt wear red anymore except for when broke Teh's heart. During the confession scene on the hammock they gave each other red hibiscus'. And Oh unfolding the flower in Teh's hand as he confessed was basically Oh handing him his heart and literally opening it up.
The coconut theme is obvious to everyone I guess. From hating them to eventually loving them and even initiating to buy and drink them. In the end not only does Teh like them, but he accepts them and is ok with them. Its like his feeling towards liking boys.
Its these small details that make the series worth rewatching

that was in ep 5 where he wrote "love" . Teh wrote this before Oh started running from his house to the cape. But they only show what he wrote at the very end after they hug. And its not rival. the words written are actually "enemy" throughout the series. The series chose to use "rival" as the translation.

Ha-ha. I never watched 2gether. And I think Tehs dad is dead

Here's a possible plot prediction of Season 2:
Oh writes a screen play as Bas mentioned he wanted to in ep1. He said that Oh wanted to cast students from different schools and Teh is now at a different school from Oh.
Teh is cast as the male protagonist with a girl. This causes conflict with Tehs feelings and his relationship with Oh. In the end Oh is cast as the second male protagonist. Possibly hinted when Oh asked if it was ok there were 2 male protagonists in ep 3. And they end with being on stage as leads together and declaring their love for one another. Teh reaching his dream of being a lead and realizing his love openly for Oh

I just thought they didnt hug cause they hadnt been talking and hadnt seen each other in years. It would have been weird if they suddenly became so close without rebuilding their friendship. As Oh said towards the end of ep 1. He felt they could start being friends again. But was doubtful if they could be close like they were when they were young. It would have been kinda strange if they suddenly just got so close. Having arranged that they were distant towards each other was what made that scen work. I think them slowly rebuilding their friendship is part of what made this series and their relationship meaningful.
As for the t-shirt. I didnt catch that. I only saw Oh and Teh wearing a white tshirt that said "sunset" on it.

Just outta curiosity and for fun what scene or moment was most memorable/favorite/impressionable for u all?
For me it was the scene after they first ran to the cape and sat there talking on the hillside and when they were in Teh's room after at night . (NO !! not cause it was potentially sexual or anything!!)
The moment Oh realized his full feelings for Teh from the lyrics Teh was translating was sweet and brought out the reason they used that song. The lyrics were like a summary of Tehs hidden promise to Oh.
When they are alone in Teh's room and Oh cuddled up to Teh like a kitten, Teh first gently pushing him away but slowly warming up to Oh and looking into each others' eyes. Up to the point where Teh feels guilty and afraid cause Oh is a boy.....that whole sequence they both barely spoke, but they communicated their feelings, emotions and the atmosphere with their expressions so well. Their minor body language and facial expressions were so on point.

A way for me to describe how the series felt like was, It was great 5 course meal. The hors d'oeuvre and appetizers (ep 1 +2) set up a very nice intro. The main course (ep 3+4) left viewers amazed and loving what they had been served. It was the highlight of the course. The dessert (ep 5) was good, but lacked a certain kick. Viewers liked it. But it wasnt able to bring the whole meal to a complete satisfied close. Its like u have been given a piece of sponge cake , but what would have made the meal 100% perfect was something with chocolate or sweet cause the main course was so heavy on the senses. The whole course was definately great. But for some ppl it lacked that little detail to complete it. It wasnt disappointing butjust lacked a sense of fullfilment and satisfication.
Haha not sure if that makes sense to ppl. And thats really my personal opinion. Not hoping to offend anyone out there

BUT please don't leave me and stay in my life. "

yes, you put it in an accurate way. There is something missing in the end. Like a meaningful dialogue. The ending all felt too sudden and smooth. One minute they are no longer frds, then they are back to talking as if things didnt really happen, then they are good frds again and the next moment they are a couple.

Sorry to put it this way but for me it felt like they simplified the whole relationship/conflicts.
Teh struggles for 2-3 eps about his feelings, then just cause his brother told him its ok he's also ok about it. Then conveniently Oh tells him he's single, so he had the opportunity and asked Oh to be his bf. Oh, without hesitation, accepts Teh and it ends
I was expecting a deeper confession between Teh and Oh. Or a more "dramatic"or emotional ending. The scenes of Teh and Oh on the beach, (when they were in the hammock, and meeting alone) were even more impressionable than the final scene
This was just my personal expectation. Overall it was still a very good series.

I found myself watching it after ep 3 just cause I started it (I dont like leaving things half way).

I understand that part. I'm just saying that how Teh reacted was reasonable. OH couldn't have expected someone he just unfriended to still be in his life and be like nothing happened. It feels like a rather unreasonable request and expectation

I have one minor issue that sorta bothers me. Oh was the one who told Teh that they are no longer friends. But in the end he asked Teh never to leave/disappear again. Isn't that kinda redundant? How did he expect Teh to behave after what he said? Still be around him but not be bothered that they aren't frds anymore and just get ignored by Oh?

For those that will see ep 5 later tonight...PLEASE avoid posting spoilers or possible spoilers. I'm sure alot of ppl want to talk about the final ep. But I'm sure more ppl even want to enjoy it with expectations and surprises. Thanks

Ok, I just realized the part where Can and Job sing was just to promote their song...what a waste of air time. They could have done more with any other characters
