yeah i know xD i did mention that at the end of my review but it's hella long so i doubt anyone would read all…
Goodbye My Princess (GMP) does look interesting, the lead actress kind of resembles Tiffany Tang a bit in terms of facial features. But I read some reviews that the lead actor or her love interest abuses her towards the end or something like that. The reason many people like PWY is because of the chemistry between Luo Jin and Tiffany Tang.
Story of Ming Lan definitely has high reviews so I might catch it in the future but not sure I really enjoy comedy in dramas too much. I did watch the first episode though.
Sorry I didn't catch that you mentioned PWY in your review, did not read far enough.
So far looks like this drama's set design, props, and setting have been half-assed. Some of it looks amazing, then some of it looks completely terrible and like they rushed to finish the set or couldn't find the last missing piece of furniture and threw something else in there.
In Episode 2 around the 5:00 minute mark, can someone tell me is this an actual place in China? The waterfalls and cities with ancient architecture like that exists or was that CGI?
Only a few episodes into this but its kind of cheesy, keeping me from being interested further but the opening song is awesome and the fighting and effects look top notch.
I actually like TMOPB, but YangMi’s acting was lacking at some areas. I have watched so many dramas and haven’t…
Your reviews are good! So far I have seen Investiture of the Gods 2019, Princess Weiyoung, The Untamed, and Nirvana in Fire 2015. Now switching between The Legends, Legend of Fu Yau, NIF2, Heaven Sword Dragon Sabre (too cheesy), and Story of Yanxi Palace (kinda boring).
Both Story of Ming Lan and Goodbye My Princess were in 2018 and 2019. Princess Weiyoung was in 2016, so that means they are more likely to have copied Princess Weiyoung's story than vice versa. Just cause you watched the others before this one, doesn't mean this one copied the others storyline.

Here is a photo that I submitted the first time for the profile photo but was rejected. I like this one a lot --https://i.imgur.com/VdDyRgC.jpg
