I haven’t had time to read the whole novel yet, but from what I’ve seen and read so far, it feels like for those 10 years GT was fine being “just a beta” and loving Shen Wenlang from afar because he knew SWL hated Omegas, so he never let himself hope for more, especially with all the self-abasement and insecurities he carried from his mother and his life experiences.
Then HY shows up as an Omega and GT notices SWL giving him attention, it makes GT realize that maybe it is possible for SWL to be with an Omega. It made me really feel for him, because unrequited love is truly horrible, let alone when he sees SWL with HY.
Not to mention that after the "night" SWL keeps calling the omega filthy. On top of that, SWL has repeatedly said that he finds GT's omega's scent disgusting, it's like a direct stab at GT because while SWL doesn't realize, for GT it means that SWL hates his scent. I don't think this Omegaverse takes the whole scent dynamic so seriously because it just shows that it adds to the insecurities that GT has, but in other omegaverse stories the whole scent thing is so serious and an Alpha that the Omega thinks is theirs/their mate, hating their scent would be so catastrophic.
Even in the recent episode, GT admits to SWL that he can’t compare to HY, and that HY is the only Omega who can truly stand beside him. I just find it so sad. Especially with the pregnancy and all, he's really trying his best to see if he can include SWL but ofc we alll know what's gonna happen eventually.
sorry for the paragraph, I've just fallen so in love with them!
Taking physics, chemistry, & human anatomy classes while watching ABO desire is not helping my BL mind lolEverytime…
LOL, I kept thinking the same thing when I started reading ABO during my A Levels a few yrs ago! 🤣 Maybe it helped me remember things better haha. Then when I did anatomy in med school it was interesting to to think about the whole mpreg and all especially with how far modern medicine has come
Maybe I'm just too in love with LangTu's storyline, but I can't help but find it cute how Shen Wenlang gave a drink to Gao Tu, HIS SECRETARY first and then took one for himself... A boss like Wenlang doing that? Awww.
I enjoy the plot, especially since most of us have been waiting since this was announced! But someone who has read the novel, please tell me he doesn't just fall in love with Khem because he's Khemmika's reincarnation...
same here within few scenes I got it that felt like I have seen this plot somewhere I am watching this for the…
It's actually quite different, but there are many similar scenes. The whole thing with the child is not part of this, and also the stepmom is not actually in love with the dad. The dad, too is toxic, not like the one from GS. I think that was another reason I watched it, because I wanted to see how much of a similarity it had with the Thai show.
At first I was wondering why it felt oddly familiar, but not entirely and when I checked the page again I found out it is remake of Game Sanaeha, so that's when it clicked, haha.
Tbh, the first few episodes were good, although, while the actors did well, I personally think Game Sanaeha's story was better and I think less toxic. Anyway, I stayed mostly for the main leads' chemistry and Chi Ye!
If anyone watched this and enjoyed it then I'd definitely suggest giving the Thai one a watch!
100% agree on everything. I also watched only for Johan and North and they didn't disappoint me. On the other…
Yeah, but according to the comments above, the funding for s2 isn't secured :/ So I hope they can actually make the show with the same actors when it is!
I just find it so funny that after being caught in bed together, HillTer were still thinking that their partner liked other people. Especially Ter, like, Hill was kissing Ter, how is it possible for him to be like that if he liked his sister? 🤣🤣 All this time I watched for JohanNorth, because their scenes are just better imo. Everytime HillTer were on screen I couldn't believe they were the same people who had been caught by their parents making out. It was unbelievable and funny, especially with how Ter is always just "Let me goooo" 🤣🤣 Earth and Pond are both nice as actors but I feel like these kinda shows that they give Earth are just getting old. I really hope they'll make a show for the other two couples. I'm excited to see Arthit and Dao together because they seem like they're such opposites!
The show was great! Especially He Xu's scenes at the end. I'm confused about the ending though. They take on the ferry's case to "save" more than 800 people, but wouldn't that be a big node to change since death is considered as one?
Why does it seem like the office worker is gonna cause issues? Lol, it's one thing to be crushing on her boss, it's another to actually think she has a right to be annoyed about him being married. These kind of characters are so meh. I hope she doesn't side with the step mom just because of this. 🤦♀️
