So in the novel Shen WenLang calls Gao Tu's father and ask him about Gao Tu because GT was unreachable... The father then ends up finding out about GT being an Omega and being pregnant with SWL's child, so he wants to extort money and ends up calling both of them to a restaurant or something and tells SWL that he will have the child aborted if he pays 10m, but SWL is confused because he's never thought of GT as anything but a Beta. Fearing for his child, GT runs away on the pretense that he's going to the washroom, but his father ends up finding him and tries to sell him off, but GT escapes from there saying that the child's Alpha father will pay for everything. Anyway, SWL ends up calling Hua Yong and HY tells him that he should have checked the photo of the Omega from that night that he had sent SWL long ago since GT was the omega from that night (SWL hadn't checked because he was just worried about GT and he didn't care about the omega from that night at that point, like he literally just wanted to find GT.) Unlike the show, HY never shows GT the picture, he actually sends it to SWL but SWL doesn't check it until it expires, so when HY says it SWL asks for the pic again.
SWL tries looking for GT and even ends up at his sister's place multiple times, and the sister also tells him that Gao Tu has another Alpha, etc, just to get him off his back. During one of the times, he ends up smelling Gao Tu and ends up going into mating syndrome, to the point that a SWAT team is called, but they're afraid of tranquilizing SWL since he's a big shot, with well known parents, so SWL's Omega father calls HY and tells him to go do it instead. SWL ends up at his Alpha father's place, locked up and beaten up (I think he breaks his ribs, legs, idk what else.) Also, SWL's Omega father ends up helping Gao Tu stay hidden. This part kinda pisses me off because I don't understand why they decided to do it, but I think it's to protect GT since he ends up in a coma.
The novel talks about Gao Tu's pregnancy too. The doctor tells him he can't continue the pregnancy without his bonded Alpha but Gao Tu really wants the child and suggests artificial pheromones, but they're not good enough obviously. During the pregnancy he even goes through shock and cardiac arrest, and ends up in a coma but Ma Heng ends up helping him, although their compatibility is only 60%.
Unfortunately then there's a time skip of 3 years, but SWL puts up billboards and all that to find GT, but I think since Ying Yi (his omega father) is helping GT stay hidden that's why he couldn't find him.
After the time skip, SWL is with Peanut (HY and SSY's son) at an amusement park in a different state or something, and Peanut bumps into Lele. That's when SWL sees Gao Tu there with Lele and Ma Heng (and his wife). They end up in the same car together because SWL doesn't let them go, but GT says he had aborted their child already. Even at this point, SWL messes up and says that Peanut is HY's child and GT ends up thinking that it's his and HY's child, lol, especially since Peanut calls SWL "Daddy Wenlang" so he says congratulations to him. 🤣
But anyway, during the car ride, Peanut asks Lele if he can borrow the mask Lele is wearing because he found it cute, and GT really didn't want it to happen but Lele gives it to Peanut, due to which SWL realizes that Lele is his child since he looks so much like him, to the point that he says a DNA test wouldn't even be required to prove it. Apparently SWL really grovels and moves to be their neighbour and in the end they end up together, but it's told through Lele's POV.

Ahh, okay! Welcome to the world of BL, haha! I still haven't finished Revenged Love, because I've been reading way too many fics of SWLxGT! A few weeks ago I heard that he won't show up and even the plot with the restaurant meeting/father etc won't be a part of the show but I'm not sure! Honestly, we ARE similar haha, I think I too get inclined to characters and stories that are heartbreaking, unless I end up loving the characters too much, then I can't stand them in pain, which is what's going on with me rn with our 2nd couple here 😅🥺

I think it was because it's classic AlphaxOmega which is usually the norm. I started the show without checking anything out except for the trailer and because it was the first ever live action Omegaverse, but usually I end up watching things I've seen on reels or shows of actors I've been waiting for, so I honestly didn't expect to love SWLxGT as much as I do. When I went to find out about their story I was so let down, ngl. I feel like their story deserved its own novel but unfortunately we'll probably never get it. The novel is the reason why I don't have any expectations from the last three episodes, especially since according to the ones who've read the whole thing, SWLxGT have been given more time than they actually have in the novel, minus the extras that are theirs alone.

Yeah they definitely can't. We'll just have to live with what they decide to give us. Tbh I read somewhere that SWLxGT's story is considered cliche so they didn't really care for it but idk if it's true. I don't think it was expected that GT would get so much love haha

Oh wow! Ngl, I kinda love the trope, but I've only read it in fanfics. I didn't watch PitBabe either because the show just seemed boring to me. I had uni exams going on and right before the first one, I decided to procrastinate and watched 6 episodes of the show. I got obsessed with SWLxGT, went to read a ton of fics, the og novel, procrastinated to the max and now I'm here, stuck on ep 7 because I refuse to watch till it's finished. My CW list has been the same since the past two weeks because I haven't been able to sit down and even start a show. I've just been watching edits, haha. I used to binge watch before, but now I prefer watching on going shows because it helps to manage time.

Haha, I wonder too. Tbh there's many clips of them with the child actors, so yeah it's def not going to be a sad ending. I got into the show after 6 or 7 episodes had been released so when I looked them up there was SO much content and I've kind of being following it all since I've gotten a bit obsessed with SWLxGT, haha.

Yeah, especially since there's still stuff about the main couple left. I don't expect to get GT and SWL's story at all. I heard that they have filmed some extra stuff but idk how much truth there is to that since I haven't seen anyone talk about it, and I don't know if it's about SWLxGT.
Honestly I haven't read the whole novel but I read the extras because they're about SWLxGT (there's like 17 chapters of the WolfxRabbit Extras), and most of these things are from there (after chapter 77 iirc.)

So Gao Tu has pheromone disorder, due to his overuse/abuse of suppressants and also taking painkillers along with them. In general if we talk about fertility, Gao Tu would probably have impaired fertility because of his disorder and I think the only reason why they conceived in their first time is because Shen Wenlang and Gao Tu have over 90+ compatibility (I would say in omegaverse that would be like they're almost fated.) Shen Wenlang is kind of pitiful, in my opinion. He has deep rooted trauma because of his parents and even now he barely is in contact with his father (let's not forget that in the book, even while he's going through mating syndrome, his alpha father had him locked up and his omega father helps Gao Tu stay hidden). The only other person he seems to talk to is Hua Yong, that even only when he's needed and he still maintains a decent friendship with him and we've seen that he actually has some care for the Enigma.
Gao Tu is basically his everything. They've sorta been through life together, especially when you think about how they've known each other for 10 years. Shen Wenlang has only let Gao Tu in, no one else, and that even because Gao Tu actually stood by him and understood him. I don't think he ever expected Gao Tu to have a "partner" let alone get the "partner" pregnant and then end up resigning. He trusts Gao Tu to the point that he could never imagine that the omega would be lying to him.
I just feel bad for Shen Wenlang. He truly trusts Gao Tu, but I also understand that Gao Tu is scared of him and what he can do with his child especially because he keeps saying he hates Omegas, so he did what he thought was best for them (like he says in the book, he only wanted the child, not the man.) and I think another reason for Gao Tu doing this is mostly because he doesn't think he'll ever let anyone as close to him as he let Shen Wenlang, to ever have a chance at parenthood, let alone with his illnesses, if he even could conceive with someone else who wasn't as compatible with him as Shen Wenlang.
I think in the end what happened in the book was kind of necessary no matter how much I hated it because Gao Tu really needed to face himself and his reality of being an Omega. Shen Wenlang on the other hand, never expected a life without Gao Tu. For him Gao Tu is his constant. He loves Gao Tu. Doesn't matter what he is, who he's with. Gao Tu for Shen Wenlang is just... Gao Tu.
I've read so many fics of them I'm just sad about the novel to the point that I haven't been able to pick it up again. 🥹

Exactly. We only know GT is an omega because we see his POV. SWL does not. I honestly felt bad for him because iirc his own omega father helps keep GT away from him and his Alpha father locks him up during the time when he's going through mating syndrome. It's not like has not suffered and looked for GT. We can hate the way he says the most horrendous things about omegas but everyone knows he loves and cares for GT.
