If they did it that way, less people will notice the drama or want to watch it. They needed those leads to get…
yeah, I recognize this was a marketing choice. I don't think many would have watched it if they advertised the mom. But still, I think she should be listed as a Main Role on MDL.
Ok legit question... the mom is listed as a support character. She certainly got more focus than Xu Kai's character did (unfortunately). Who categorized this?
I guess I'm in the minority. I need this show over and done with As an adult. I found it insulting how hyun woo…
I think this show has really tanked. It started off interesting but ............... then the show went on. And yeah, all the medical stuff requires suspension of logic and reality. So I'm with you on the "this is not good" train.
still undecided whether to watch this or not.. looking for fellow xianxia watchers! please share your xianxias…
I definitely think this is worth watching. I watched within a few days and was not disappointed. Still thinking about where to rank it but, tentatively:
This isn't best of all time, these are just rankings of what I have watched and I've only fully seen 11 xianxia unless I forgot something.
1. Love Between Fairy and Devil 2. The Starry Love 3. Ashes of Love 4. Legend of Shen Li 5. Immortal Samsara 6. Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms 7. Love and Redemption 8. The Last Immortal 9. Back from the Brink 10. Ancient Love Poetry 11. Till the End of the Moon
Hi, guys! I have just seen a tweet about how HY thinks FY ≠ AY and when I watched again the eps from the return…
He just means that she has changed. She still has A Yin's memories. She just has 26 other lives of memories and years of experience so her personality has changed. And of course she is a different being now as the Phoenix Queen and not a defenseless Water Beast. She's A Yin in the sense that she was A Yin in the past but she's no longer just A Yin, but Feng Yin.

Plus the positive thing about xianxia is, no one really dies I think?? Always a chance for the spirit to come back?? So devastation will only be temporary unlike certain other shows? LOL
I am legitimately enjoying watching this show now!!! In the beginning, I was just watching out of curiosity and to pass the time in between new episodes of A Journey to Love and thought it was a bit cheesy and low budget looking, but I thoroughly enjoyed the last few episodes and am looking forward to seeing how everything will play out. Loving both Wang An Yu and Zhao Lusi in this.
Thoughts on ending: (will spoiler in reply) But still digesting a bit. I don't discourage anyone from watching,…
I was mildly spoiled by people saying avoid the MDL comments and someone adding an explosion emoji and alluding to everyone getting hit by a meteorite - so I expected people to die when watching. I was bracing myself and anxious. But even before I saw those unfortunate comments, I kind of figured there's no way everyone can survive. They had heavily foreshadowed Yuan Lu's death, especially with the rooftop scene. I was hoping it wouldn't come to pass, but it did and honestly probably the most devastating death IMO. Definitely frustrating that he missed paths with NYZ and RY on the way. I was screaming internally for someone to save him.
I kind of agree with some who thought the deaths were excessive and possibly rushed but I really thought that they were all given good deaths. I appreciated the montages. I think they really gave Shisan a scenic send off. Alen Fang did a great job IMO.
Yang Ying had a great arc. I'm also one of the people who liked LTG, so I was not upset by all of his crazy.
Originally I was in the camp of NYZ and RY died but after reading some comments, I see it is probably more likely they survived. Still not sure why they had Chu Yue close it out instead of Yang Ying though. But either way, if both of them died, it seems like it would be fitting. Might as well just kill the whole crew...
All that being said I really enjoyed the ride and I don't regret watching at all. If it was spoiled for me at the beginning, I might've thought twice but I enjoyed that I was able to watch the story unfold and see it to the end. I think the characters were overall very well done. The show had its comedy and also reality where people in a dangerous profession actually die. So I'm not upset that there was a blood bath at the end and while it was sad, I still enjoyed the show a lot.
