Out of all the different adaptations I have watched of this drama, this was the best version. I liked the fact that they found out the person who was behind all the misunderstandings. I hated that she wasn't punished and that the baby died in the end. I also liked that the leads ended up together and it didn't end in a cliff hanger. I must admit that it was getting a bit draggy towards the end and I skipped most of the episodes.
I have watched the Korean, Thai and Japanese adaptations and this was the BEST version. I liked the fact that the male lead had some amount of character development. We see where they cuddled or talked together like an actual couple. It has joined my list of favourites.
This movie was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wished it was actually a series. The acting skills of the male lead was something else... his transition from a dominant alpha to spineless geek is absolutely flawless. He plays both roles exceptionally.
Finished watching this drama about 2/3 weeks ago and I already re-watched it once during that time. GREAT series. I loved the gender reversal. The dynamics were beyond the norm, but they made it work. The saying 'she fell first but he fell harder' exemplifies this drama.
I really enjoyed this drama. Well worth the 2 days I took to binge it. I got to see the cold general fall so hopelessly in love with his wife that he practically became a lap dog.
For the most part I really liked this drama. The only problem was that it took forever to reach anywhere. It was practically the same thing being done over and over again for about 5/6 episodes. It actually took 3 YEARS for the leads to admit their feelings. And all we got in the end was a forehead kiss.
The grandad gets cancer early on and then the FL gets cancer in episode 38 I think
Loved the leads though

This is where I watched it with English subtitles.
