This seties started out great and the pacing was good up until the 19th episode. After that it just got long and draggy. After that i was just waiting for it to end. The innitial suspense and thrill that had me hooked up till the 19th episode was now mostly missing. I must say though, the chemistry between the ML and FL was phenomenal 👌.

This was a weird drama but I made it through. Some of the situations in this drama didn't make any sense and seemed so surreal but it didn't really throw off from the whole series itself. I mean, the fact that Hase was ok with his friend sleeping with the girl he proposed to is absolutely ridiculous. But then when you look at his childhood, you see that he has some deep rooted emotional scars from his mom and the reason he is the way he is. As for Hongyo, he's very immature and very child like. He doesn't understand or know how to express his feelings. He's basically a human being on autopilot. He'll probably never learn how to express his emotions and will probably always depend on someone (hence the reason he and Hase got along so well). It wasn't as bad as the comments said it was and I'm glad I actually followed my gut and actually watched it.

I'm on episode 23 and I can't wait for this drama to end. I'm just going through the motions because I already started watching it and missed hours of sleep... I've invested too much. In the first few episodes, it had me on the edge of my seat... waiting for the next episode. I though the leads would quickly get together but it took too many episodes. They both started liking each other and showing that they liked each other early on, but the relationship went nowhere which was very frustrating. I had to watch episode after episode hoping that they'd get together now but it was all for nothing. The FL was practically doing summersaults in from of the ML trying to show him that she liked him... but in every situation he gave some stoic, emotionless response. The FL gave the ML several opportunities to tell her that he liked her but he practically ignored her. Then finally they get together in episode 17 (I think) and I absolutely hate the dynamics of their relationship. He is too controlling. He gives her the silent treatment for talking to someone of the opposite sex, if she wants to meet up with a male friend, she has to tell him before hand and he has this list of rules she has to follow before he allows her to meet with a guy. It's like she's walking on egg shells around him... not knowing what will trigger him off.

Have ever had a feeling of something is not right, that's the feeling i got after completing this drama but what…
I feel the same way. How she treated him at first, it was kinda like she was above him and she only went back to him (in my opinion) when he became confident and became a 'hottie' for lack of a better word.

She played hard to get for too long after getting rejected. Its appears more like ego satisfying thing than anything.…
I think she played hard to get too long. She confessed and he rejected her. But not long after he came around and started showing that he really reciprocated her feelings and she's acting like he did her wrong, like he did some drastic emotional damage to her. Even after all he did for her, she still keeps him at arm's length away.

It took me forever to actually start this drama. It had been on my 'PlanTo Watch" list for months. I eventually gave in and I haven't gotten a good night's sleep since I started it. It took me about 3 days to watch it and I'm so glad I did. It was very entertaining. It had a good balance between the crime and mystery and the romance themes. My only problem is that, with the sextual tension and build up between the ML and FL, their kiss was very disappointing. Their lips were barely touching. Other than that, it was a GREAT watch.

I really enjoyed this drama. The misunderstanding between the leads was hilarious,
My only concern was that the series wasn't longer

I'm at episode 7 in the drama and the FL isn't showing any signs of being pregnant. Added to that, it's just ONE positive pregnancy test, not 2 not 3; but ONE. Also, they haven't gone to a doctor to confirm if she's pregnant or not. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised it she Isn't pregnant

The show wasn't a bad watch. I was actually looking forward to watching this show. I'm a bigger girl, so I always enjoy shows where the 'underdog' AKA the fat girl gets the guy. However, I don't like the premise that this series falls on... it fell short in so many ways.

The series started out with Miyuki having absolutely no self confidence and it ended with her still having no self confidence. All her life, everyone around her told her that she was ugly so she grew to be a subservient, submissive person who has learnt to grin through all her challenges, hoping that everything will work out ok. Never willing to fight back.

Her father didn't come out and say she was ugly, but it was always implied. Her husband who fell in love with her, never once said that she was beautiful, or complimented her looks in any way. He also never once stood up for his wife when everyone around her kept bullying and disrespecting her. He was just a silent bystander who watched it all happen and then telling her sorry.

His boss and the secretary kept insulting Miyuki about her looks and the fact that she was fat, how she wasn't good enough for him, how she would damage his career... and it seemed that it was ok, as if it was expected... like it's the norm to speak to someone this way. When they went out furniture shopping, the boss and the secretary said that she wasn't good enough to be seen by Osamu's side in any other capacity than a manager, and he actually went along with it. she was his WIFE and he let them belittle her like that. This all helped to cement in Miyuki's mind that she was never good enough for her husband and that she should be grateful that he married her.

Osamu didn't try to reassure her of his feeling. He didn't show that he loved her or deeply cared for her. The only way he sowed some resemblance of a backbone was when he announced that they were married, which to me was a stupid move. Most Asian celebrities, when they marry a non-celebrity, often time keep this person's identify a secret because they know the backlash he/she will get.

I also hated how Miyuki kept bowing and being so submissive to her husband. She never thought that she would ever marry anyone, talk less of marring this famous, handsome celebrity who just happens to be her idol. She seemed so grateful that he married her that she was always looking for ways to please him, always giving in to every demand he may have. This grated on my nerves. It sends out a message to other young girls out there that are fat or so called ugly, won't get a good looking partner and if they do, they should be eternally grateful... bowing and worshiping the ground that this man walks on.

There was ABSOLUTELY NO chemistry between the main couple. The husband wasn't vocal about his adoration for his wife and he didn't show it physically either. Their kiss scenes had no feeling to it... it seemed rehearsed or like it was just part of the script (which it was) which shouldn't be the case.

I didn't regret watching this series but it was so disappointing. If you're going to write a series about a fat girl overcoming obstacles and finding true love, at least try to be convincing with the love part and let their be something learnt from the story.

I don't understand how everyone kept saying that she was ugly... she is a very pretty girl. It was just that she was on the bigger side. I wonder if it's a case where if you are fat is the same as being ugly and slim means you're pretty. Also, those clothes that they had her wearing did nothing to her figure. From the few scenes where she's wearing something that hugs her figue, she isn't as big as the clothes make her out to be. She has a really good figure.

The FL's character was a pain. Very annoying and distrustful. Other than that, I really enjoyed this show. I particularly liked the ending, especially with Villain. Justice was served and karma came around

This was a good watch, enjoyed it... but I preferred the original version (Korean version). This was shorter and kinda rushed, even in the final episode. Maybe because the Korean version was was longer, they had more time to develop the plot lines.

In all my years of watching Asian dramas, this is by far the stupidest ML I have ever seen. He believes everything that is said about the FL. He is so caught up with who he believes her to be, that even thought she has repeatedly shown him her true self, he refuses to see what is right in front of his eyes.
For Christ's sake...he knew she was a virgin after he RAPED her, but within a few weeks, he comes to the conclusion that she sleeps around just by the gossip of people who he knows hates her. He knew he was her first when her slept with her, yet still he questions if her baby is his. However, he accepts the other woman's baby as his even though he doesn't remember sleeping with her. This is
The ML mistreats the FL for the entirety of the series... and for what???? He didn't have a definitive reason to distrust her or question her dignity. He has never seen her in a compromising position with any man, yet still he is sure that she is sleeping with every Tom, Dick and Harry that she says hi to.
And the FL.... she's another one. What the hell did she see for her to fall in love with the ML???? He mistreated her more than he ever showed her affection. The man RAPED her and she gets up the next morning smiling and being all lovey dovey with him just because he said he was sorry??????????? I seriously don't get it. She has absolutely no backbone, she may as well be a snake... then again, that's too strong as snakes tend to bite back when threatened. She lets everyone in the drama walk all over her. I bet if she could understand a dog's. language, even they would walk over her. I swear... I she spends 3/4 of this drama crying. I'm a sucker for happy endings, but I absolutely HATED the ending. After all the hell the ML put the FL through, he didn't deserve spending the rest of his life with her. She shouldn't have taken him back.

What’s wrong with the ending. I don’t understand why people do not like it. She has her Prince Charming and…
I wasn't satisfied with the ending.... yes it was a good one but it just didn't sit right right me somehow. You actually put into words what I was thinking. The king fell in love with his queen for her personality but ends up spending the rest of his life with the same queen who has a completely different personality. I also think it's unfair that the queen got the king's love with no effort of her own.

The drama wasn't as bad as the reviews made it out to be, I thought the ML would be a complete wuss, but he wasn't. He just reacts to situations differently... he doesn't fly off the handle when he gets angry but thinks before he takes action.
I really hated the mother-in-law and I don't understand how she could make a complete 360 when she was Satan's incarnate for 16 episodes. The FL has been trying to see the best in her for numerous episodes, not being as vindictive as she was... and she (mother in law) just accepted her in five minutes????? It would have been better if the mother in law started to accept her a little at a time by her actions, then it would have been more realistic.
